THIS Is How You Counter Sombra! (Overwatch 2)

Hanzo is not a counselor for her. One of the points that you listed literally applies for every character in the game broad facts like him having a one shot is not a counselor.

When I play sombra I always pioritize snipers and tanks first and I always kill their hanzo (its annoying that people will target a sombra more than every tank)

As a general tip when she tps out the animation shows the direction of her translocator

The problem with picking Hanzo is that even though your checking for her she can hear your sonic arrow go off and most sombras get close to you when they hack. 90% of the time if im dealing with even a decent sombra you get one shot to instant kill her or your dead. Somtimes if its a bad sombra you can get off a storm arrow but she deals way too much damage at close to medium range.

It probably isnt so much of an issue when playing on P.C as with a mouse you can get better flick shots off and 180 faster but on console she kicks ur ass because a 180 feels like a century even when you turn up sensitivity

Good tip is that you dont need to kill her to counter her. Unlike what most people think the best way tou counter sombra is to stop her from building pressure on your squishies by either making her attempts futile or pressure her as much as you can so she doesnt get any value.
Sombra is like a mosquito she'll come back you just gotts push her out before she gets to do any real damage she'll be forced to either take a ridk and die or translocate to safety. With good teamwork you can easily alleviate the pressure she is making and that means that you are essentially playing a 5v4 inmost cases where sombra cant do much.
She exploits mistakes more than any other hero so play safe against her and avoid taking risks and stick with one teammate.
Unless the sombra is actually really good these tips help against her a lot.

If you hack brigette before she uses her ult it will shut it down

I use Moria and the just launch the damage orb does a number to sombra

Something I've noticed is when going up against sombra or tracer, sticking closely by your team makes then not as able to pick one of you off

No body likes sombra players just take her out the game or seriously nerf her

I love how "Spycheck" started with TF2 and is now with Overwatch 2, brings back memories

Sombra is by far the least skilled hero in this game imo.

I would have chosen Zarya (ironic considering the backstory) as she can not only throw her primary and alt fire around randomly to catch a invisible sombra off guard, but you can also just barrier anyone she tries to hack

I weirdly love going junkrat to counter a sombra, stick with your supports and even if they hack you/them, all it takes is one bomb and one mine to spy clear.
