This map lowest graphics setting using 16 gb ram or 19gb and graphics card min 4 gb using cpu too.
ОтветитьName Map
ОтветитьMaybe having Small Island, Jungle Rock Island and maybe even Dry Rock Island off the coast of East Coast USA as Islands that aren’t jankily Connected by road could work as a map?
Ответитьjust a fun fact this map uses 28 Gigabytes of ram
ОтветитьHas anyone ever told you that you look like a magician?
Ответитьhow to explode pc
ОтветитьIf he would've only connected East Coast and Italy then i think that would be a better idea, better performance, less jank, etc
ОтветитьI was expecting something like the special stage in Daytona USA 2 Power Edition were you go through all the 3 stages in the game with tunels that connect them all together, but is still a really cool concept
ОтветитьDo not try and load this on your normal PC, I tried this on my GTX 1650Ti and the fucker almost melted
ОтветитьMy pc getting 20fps in the old gridmap:
Ответитьmy gaming laptops memory maxed out and caused my computer to have a seizure while trying to load this map :(
edit: disabled both graphics cards 💀
I didn’t think this was possible, someone on the beamng subreddit said that the size of WCUSA is the largest a map that the game engine will allow.
ОтветитьMy brand new midrange laptop died in this map
ОтветитьI would have put all the maps at the correct level mostly so that sea level isnt half above and half below certain areas
WCUSA could have been placed at the inaccessible mainland in italy using the deadend bridge but lengthen it
Johnson valley could have been put further away from WCUSA and extend the highway to it
After that you would have the johnson valley highway eventually lead to the utah tunnel
atleast it would feel alot less compressed that way But im sure the engine would find some way to fail with that big of a map
Why does all the cool shit start happening in Beamng the moment my PC breaks?
Ответитьif this map can be improved i would only play it
ОтветитьIt would have been great if the West Coast tunnels and the Utah tunnels connected.
ОтветитьVery cool idea. the connections should be blended better tho
Ответитьsoo, I was really the only one who thought that these maps are made to be connected one day?
ОтветитьWhat’s ur Pc specs bro?
ОтветитьIt looks cool, but that was probably made by someone who just started modding.
ОтветитьWith a little bit of work this map could be very good
ОтветитьYou are very proud of your buick arent you
Ответитьi swear my computer would literally self-destruct
ОтветитьWhat are youre pc specs btw?
ОтветитьThis looks like map for a movie
ОтветитьI think conecting maps in similar nature scenarios like derby arenas, industrial zone and east coast would look a bit better, easier to connect and maybe less lagy but it would not feel like road trip so...
Ответитьmy computer does not run it :[
ОтветитьMy poor rtx 2060 gets 22fps on this map
Ответитьi actually now unsubscribed from this map as soon as i saw all the issues you mentioned (i dont want it taking up space until the final version)
Ответитьbeamng-drive: across the beaming verse.
its a mapping event
i for real just had this idea like a day or so ago thats crazy
ОтветитьThe OGC Map is something similar to this, but it’s Derby Arenas, West Coast USA, Industrial Site, Grid Map V2, and some elements of Italy combined together and it does a way better job of it in my opinion.
ОтветитьFrom messing around in the world editor and from porting the maps into Blender myself before in the past just to look at them, I've noticed that some 3D Objects are tied into one another. So, if You delete, lets say a single traffic barrel, you end up deleting ALL of the traffic barrels and some other things that are tied to them, I think that's done to help minimize file size and reduce performance hits.
Ответитьso much more work has to be put in to make it perfect
- removing unwanted assets from the edges of each map
- separating the maps with more distance so no clipping can happen
- modifying the routes on the edges of each map to make a seemless connection to the others
even though the biomes are completely different
- reducing the render distance to potentially make it more playable
I spwaned normal traffic 15-20 fps😂
Ответитьive had the idea for a bit which is to make a USA map where its just west coast to johnsen valley to utah or the other way around if it makes more ense then to east coast
ОтветитьMan I've always wanted something like this, and it's finally here! Hope to see it get better over time
ОтветитьThe fact that this was on my Recommended says a lot about how good your doing.
ОтветитьThe map has been labeled as alpha now on the beam website. (I noticed it wasn't in the video).
Ответитьambitious and really cool but really sloppy...
Shouldn't have tried this as his first mod though
Ive tried these mashup maps they kinda run like doodoo compared to similarly scaled but not so dense maps, mainly qhen adding in lots of ai but still fun to explore nonetheless
ОтветитьMy 8GB lap top watching this: 💀
ОтветитьNow i really want to make this into an actually good map.
ОтветитьI’ll definitely try this map but I’ll be doing some editing in the world editor
Ответитьkeep up the good work!!
