Wow!!!!! What a wonderful video tutorial you've made here!! I have just a few quick, but very important questions, just so I will be sure that I'm successfully building this bedframe in the size of a Queen-sized bedframe, just like this one, but only build it in the master bedroom, all for my boyfriend and I, LoL:

1. Does anyone know EXACTLY what sized mattress that this bedframe was ORIGINALLY intended to be built for?

2. Is there ANY sort of website/link/instructions to a pdf file for ppl to download, so that ppl can possibly see the plans or instructions visually?? That way, those of us who do better with following instructions by reading them vs. hearing them, might possibly have ourselves a fighting chance at building this bedframe for ourselves successfully, hahaha LMFAO!!

(I REALLY hope my questions aren't confusing everybody on here, LoL, lmk if they are and I'll be happy to clarify/explain)

3. Is there any chance that anyone in this comment section possibly has the ability to adjust any/all of the sizes of everything he stated in this video, so I could attempt to successfully adjust ALL of my bed frame into the Queen size bed frame without screwing up this entire project, all from not getting my measurements converted correctly. Ya know???

I have no doubt I could build this with my table saw, miter saw, drill, impact, and my circular saw but that's not the problem. A single piece of Baltic burch cost as much as my miter saw! Even using pine I cannot buy 9 sheets worth. Looks like I'll be doomed with 2x4's for a while

Really nice build but the title is a bit misleading. It’s more watching a skilled person doing a commercial build in a commercial sized space using high end commercial tools - not exactly DIY 😂.

What was the actual cutting and assembly time on this project? Looks like more than a weekends worth. Material costs alone (these days) could be a real turn-off. Impressive, but not for me; I'll seek other alternatives from diy furniture places and do a Frankenstein mix-n-match storage bed.

I made a similar frame about 10 years ago out of plyboo that has not stayed square after many moves, I'd be curious to learn what made you go with push-release drawers, if you ever get the desire to come read years-old video comments

I'm designing a bed that is close to your design. Should I add space between the floor and the drawers to have robot clean under the bed. I have no idea how easy to clean it if I make your way. What do you think?

How long did it take to make this bed?

Chris, I noticed in your sketchup drawing of this platform bed that the top and bottom panels of the big side drawer boxes were not rabbited, only the side panels. But in the build you did a stopped rabbit on those top and bottom pieces, so the 1/2 inch back panel was "received" all the way around. What made you change course there? Any reason you wanted the rabbit to go all the way around instead of just being on the two side panels?
