Simple tip to help navigate within 3D views,
Normally, a 3D view orbits around the center point of the Revit model. This can often make moving around your 3D geometry difficult, as you have to toggle back and forth between orbiting and panning.
By selecting a model element first, you change the center of the orbit to the center of that element,. this allows you to quickly move around while keeping the area of your focus at center.
