ОтветитьI just pulled out one injector just to look at it. I replaced my valve cover gasket a few months ago but when I took the injector out it was covered in oil. Does that mean it was just old oil?

I've watched this like 7 times this past week prepping for me to to it today 😂 only thing is I'm testing my newly used injectors with bank 2 hard lines so I don't have to pull my 3 injectors that never misfire out of the car, only because I only ordered 3 decoupler and Teflon seals

ОтветитьI have N53 and done the test 4 injectors were leaking, I put new ones and it gets worse now ( 4 injectors was used but I tested them as you did) don't know what to do next:-)!

ОтветитьI did same test as you.. but i have N53 engine.. none of the injector made a single leak, i changed all plugs and coils.. but there are still symptoms like rough idle, shaking, vibrating on cold start, check engine.. i dont know what to do

ОтветитьIm having an issue when i start getting on accelerator at around 3 to 4 rpm the car feels like it jerks n looses power it only does it sometimes .

Ответитьe60 535i has no throttle and idels up and down..but mine was not the fuse like in one of your vids .. plz help. new gas peddle , new throttle body. no water in DME ever.

You should though have tested the “new” ones the same way to actually KNOW if they had the same problem or not.

Ultrasonic cleaning might help extend the life of your old injectors and new o rings + filters if they have them.
Did you takeout spark plugs?
ОтветитьI would test the index 12s too. I would also extend one injector wiring to reach each "new" index 12 injector to see if they are open and their injection patterns. Never trust ebay and there are FAKE index 12 out there and when I did what u did last year, I could not even program the compensation number into DME and 3 out of 6 index 12 I bought have the same compensation number.

ОтветитьYou didn’t bleed the lines after you removed the hard lines. How do you know there was pressurized fuel to the car injector. You don’t there full of air.

ОтветитьWell Chris. 6 months ago I purchased 6 index 9 remanufactured injectors. I got a 60k km warranty. Everything was okay. But a few weeks ago the car had a rough colt start again. I checked the injectors and nr3,4 and 5 are leaking. I was warned not to buy remanufactured injectors but I didn't have the money for index 12 ones, back then. The remanufactured injectors were €700. Now I'm saving money again for 6 index 12 new BMW injectors. But the prices went sky high lately. They're now € 2450,- ( $2620) at the dealership. Absolutely insane! Dutch regards, Nico.

ОтветитьThat's the only way to test em and be sure. When I first got my 335 I checked the injectors. 4 wer spraying and 2 dripped. Cold start was fine but a hot start took a while and was a bit rough. $1400 later and the new injectors were in and she was running great. I hope the injectors on my n63tu last more than 100k
