THe terraforming thing was bad, a big problem with below zero was the mcguffin in the spaceship being to hard to find. with this, your a bassicallly forcing new players to google how to terraform the biome correctly wich could lead to them spoiling themselves by seeing "ooh shiny leviathen" on the forum page

I love the idea of being able to customize your ship but I would like if they added full on docks that you can place on your base, also could extend a docking tube to get in and out of your ship

I'm currently in the middle of a Below Zero play through.... Some things that would be nice to have are: Recreating the entire group of decorations and others that aren't already available to pick up, control over the interior colour scheme of each building component, more growable weird looking non edible plants (both interior and exterior), more variations of desks, chairs, beds, ornaments, etc. That's all I can think of right now.

What would be cool if some areas is polluted and I can fix the environment or ecosystem which could give you new resources and resources and new animals like if My nuclear reactor and the Area covered in radiation make special equipment to fix it or if I overheard resources it could go out and get polluted or if I released more animals into the ecosystem it could attract more predators making the area more dangerous

When is a new vid coming out? Do you need an idea or are just taking a break?

A lot of this stuff is REALLY cool. Would make me feel like a big brain scientist. I do wonder if maybe they removed some of this to either cut back on complexity or maybe performance issues (as you would need to build more and have more things running) .
I honestly really like the flooding of submarines as it would kinda be more forgiving and realistic.

The idea you were talking about for terraforming really reminds me of the 2008 game Spore, where at one point in the game you are able to terraform planets by altering oxygen levels and temperature and all sorts of stuff to turn a planet into a paradise.

I lovd how the Subbautica community is still thriving. When Subnautica 3 drops, we will all be screaming together

You could make like a current conveyor belt.
I imagine just kidnapping fish from different biomes to lock them up in your base and you have your current conveyor belt, so that way it’s slightly automated.

Custom large sub system would be interesting, also take a look at Worlds Adrift reborn, it's a mod for the game with a custom server backend, maybe not as interesting yet but progress is happening

🤓👆uhhhm actually... its subnautica 2 because in the dev blog, they said subnautica 2 is going to be multiplayer and below zero is not an part of subnautica 1.

if you add all the sub building its just 3d barotrauma might as well make it so the creatures can get in the sub too
