Id like to add that the asus rog flow x series is also an amazing option! As a student, designer, and gamer, it marks all my boxes. The performance is great for heavy adobe use, video editing, or animating. It’s very reliable overall. No gimmicks, just good.

Tbh, im just gonna play minecraft with some mods, terraria, and lighter games like gmod portal halflife 2, star wars battlefront 2 2005. Stuff like that. I dont need anything crazy.

i do not recommend ast yeasr g14 with the 5000 series ryzen 9. I've had countless system porblems where it decides to shut off for a couple of days and returns to life out of nowhere. Had for about a year and some keys don't work .

Would it still be worth it to buy a 2021 laptop, brand new now in 2023? (Having Ryzen 5000s with 30 series GPUs)

was missing something in the 2-in-1/convertible/detachable category, something to use with a pen or such, but not as limited as tablets. Were they all crap this year?
I was surprised not to see much of those this year, with alderlake U series and similar CPUs there should be room for some decent development in this area.

Dang, I guess the only option is a gaming laptop or a mac. That, or the crappy dell xps 13 gimmick or some computer with a wonky touchpad. It'll probably go blue screen of death on me like my last dell xps. I have a mac, but I wish I could make it run windows. Other than that, the hardware is top notch.

I believe that MSI Delta 15 must be in the Honorable mentions at least: it is one of the best price-performance ratios (in Europe) and a very good build quality with a professional look.
