I've been through far too many bad tutorials trying to get UV mapping down. This one is a little long, but it's the easiest to understand. So thanks for that. I wish everyone would just take the time to explain what they're doing, and why its done this way. Really good tutorial bud, thanks again.

OMG, you must be a professional teacher. you are soo good. i was actually looking for a 10 minutes tutorial (even a newer 2023), but you are really good. i have adhd and normally i would skip many parts or speed up the tutorial. but not here. 35 minutes tutorial and i didnt have a patience problem. you are GOOD!!!

FACEPALM. I'd been struggling to figure out how to put the same texture on all the faces (and update changes on all, etc) and wasn't sure I could simply put them on top of each other. Turned out it was the simplest fix. Delete UV, unwrap. Solved. Perfectly aligned. Thanks!

This tutorial hasn't helped me it's only made me realize you texture cereal boxes as a full time job and nothing else. I don't understand how I can use this info for bigger models with more detail to them.

With all due respect sir but older people/teachers are the best you’ve done it longer so you know what info is valuable and never leave out info, it’s sad for these other younger “teachers” making tutorials that just waist our time and leave you fee;ing even more confused. This is a AAA tutorial. Learn from this younger people. I’m young too but I really detest laizy half made tutorials.

Awesome tutorial!!

My UV view disappears when I don't have the model in 3D view selected. Do you know why this is? I can't click on edges in UV editor to see corresponding edge in 3d editor because they all disappear.
