The biggest sensor ever?! - Nexigo Iris 4K

I finally got this Webcam,I do like it just 2 things when I first opened it up I noticed that the Privacy cover seemed cheap thought it would be better on a $200+ webcam and second I probably just need to tweak it but I notice ghosting,how do I fix this?

Over all it seems way better than my old Logitech C922 Pro Stream that I have had for a few years :)
I just need to get a capture card now to take advantage of the 4K stuff.

any suggestions on background blur with this camera or the n970p (without using software)?

still looks like a webcam. at this price youre halfway to an actual 4K camera, so if you want 4K, get a real camera not a webcam

Okay, maybe that's the largest sensor in a webcam that is strictly billed as a webcam... but considering that most mirrorless cameras have tools (and in some cases, built-in firmware) that allows you to use them as webcams, I feel like the largest sensor in a webcam may just be a 35 mm full-frame sensor. That is, unless there are some medium format cameras that have similar webcam usability.

It's not bad, But honestly It would be better to use a tripod and DSLR or something of the like.

My webcam is 720p, over a decade old, and maxes out at 15 frames per second.

In most (not all) cases, the Conference room wouldn’t have hdmi input for video conference.

coming from level 1 tech support i was actually impressed to see a flagrantly ugly and noticeable privacy cover.

doubt it would stop users from calling in and saying their camera is broken when the covers on but i respect the effort

That 3D noise reduction is actually pretty cool, it works just like TAA in a game. Temporal noise reduction using data from several frames will cause some blurring or smearing if very aggressive but it should work really well on high ISO

you know, nothing has changed, webcam picture quality continues to be trash and the only way to get good quality is a capture device with a real camera as usual.

I still prefer the logitech rally, eve if it's 5 times more expensive.

Using my iPhone 13 as a webcam seems to be a better option for me, it has way better looking video

NexiGo the shittiest 4k Webcam since 2022 xD omg every phonecamera is smaller and better, we could archieve the same results 15 years ago

So, uh, what did you connect that HDMI cable to? The HDMI connector on the laptop? Its HDMI _output_, that is? 'Cause that won't do anything at all - it's not an input, so you'd still be using USB. You need a capture card/dongle, HDMI recorder, or something similar (and whatever software that devices requires).
