Sovol SV06 3D printer: A Prusa MK3S+ clone with injection molding parts for a fraction of the price

have you tried printing wood filament with this? how did it go?

If it didnt work well, are there any other printers / mods you would recomend?

I need your help please...I am about to buy my first printer...which one do you recommend...1) sovol sv06 or 2)ender3 s1(not pro version)?

would it be possible to use the prusa MMUS with the sovol sv06, or would I be better off getting the sv04 for the multiple extruder?

so right after my 25pt bed leveling, I did the probe z-offset and needed to go down around 6.5mm until just scraping a piece of paper. the nozzle crashed and dug into build sheet. did I do the z-offset incorrectly, and how?

Was the micro SD card negative because it wasn't full size because I've been told by many people octaprint works just fine when hooked up to the micro USB input next to the micro SD card slot as long as you make sure it's a data cable and not a power only micro USB cable?

Nice video! Just started using PrusaSlicer with my SV06 and noticed that the bed and nozzle heat at the same time. It would be great if you would post instructions on how to heat these items sequentially as is done in Sovol's version of Cura. Any suggestions?

Hello, I hope someone can help me.
I have the problem that I can't print Pla from "Das Filament" with my SV06 :(
After a while, the extruder "scrapes" the filament at one point in such a way that it is finally no longer fed. I had no problems with other filament manufacturers. What could that be?

The z-axis bed leveling was reported in an issue with the creality board they basically copied because it doesn't have separate z-axis drivers, just two separate connectors.

Someone mentioned that in a review of the creality 2.4.7 board and almost off by the same amount which I was looking to get for my SV03, but I would rather have two different drivers for z, and I want the option to use dual extruders. I am looking at different boards, like makerbase and the mellow fly, which are very similar.

chances are they used that screen because it is well supported in Marlin, and everyone has issues with the proprietary drivers used in the color screens. Plus it was an off-the-shelf component.

Anyway, not the first review of yours I have seen but I really do like them. :)

Can you really print at 275 ºC with the stock hotend? My manual says to use it bellow 260 ºC

I just bought and received this printer in the mail as my first 3D printer. After being into radio control aircraft for two decades and electronics for near a decade, website building and hosting, and more recently, some more serious computer programing, mostly microcontrollers. From the reviews and instructional videos I have seen on this printer so far, it seems to be somewhere between a pretty good clone of a 'higher end' printer, to something akin to a damned good clone of a very good printer. So what is this? Because I remember the 'cheap' knockoff of the SAB Goblin 380 helicopter, which was the Devil 380, by some Chinese brand which I cannot recall off the top of my head. The speculation was that the Devil would be a cheap spare parts box or a practice bird at best. It turned out actually significantly better than the 'real thing' in many ways. Many, many owners of the 'real' one would buy clone spare parts as upgrades. This company went on to use that R&D experience to produce some damned good kits from what I remember from that time. Could this be a somewhat similar situation? I hope my choice into my entry into yet a new hobby in which to better facilitate my other hobbies is a good choice.

Hello Friend, I bought a Sovol v6 60 days ago and I'm struggling with bed adhesion. The PEI is not holding the prints, and I even had to buy a new Hotend set for a complete replacement because plastic got stuck when detaching from the PEI, damaging the entire Hotend. Could you tell me what I can do? I'm almost considering throwing away this machine.

Is here someone who has fixed the auto-z-align-problem with the SOVOL SV06?
Everytime I start the "Auto Z-align" the printer starts moving, stops and the display shows "Driver error: PRINTER HALTED please reset". I already installed the latest firmware from a new micro-SD-card, but i never got farther than the Auto Z-align

With my Sovol sv06 both z-axis profiles where bent within a few months. Sovol also can't supply spare parts so the printer is garbage now.
