How to pair ReSound Hearing Aids to an iPhone

I…HATE…. MY …RESOUND HEARING AIDS.
The hardware might be ok but the damn software and support is criminal.
1) I bought these OVERPRICED hearing aids base on two “ Features” aka sales points
A) rechargeable batteries with “ very long” service..” greater than 10 hours “ ( I need for my job)
B) Advanced software including “ compression” ..( automatically boost very soft sounds while cutting back on amplifying the loud sounds to not make the loud sounds TOO loud)

A) the Batteries were the “ Z power”…. Absolute failures… but Resound NEVER notified me. So I struggled and struggled with replacing batteries… that THAY SAID WERE “ state of the art”….. They were absolute CRAP…and as. Result my performance on the job suffered.

B) the compression software…. Worked great when it worked… but the damn “ programming” / settings… the damn software kept losing the settings…. So I stuck with crap 20 year old technology… that BLASTS MY EARS WHEN THE DAMN NOISE LEVEL IS HIGH.

C) “ support” ?…. Zero…
BATTERIES….When I called and complained that the batteries were useless I was given ZERO… NONE…NO…. HELP..so I had to buy a completely new setup … chargers and batteries….. even tho Resound KNEW the Z Power system was a failure
Software…..I…work….. over seas….. as in…Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia….I contacted Resound to ask then to reset the hearing aids …. They said..” find a doctor”… thanks… the software is unstable… and Resound will not support their junk

DO….NOT….. BUY….RESOUND.

I have encountered a strange issue when pairing devices for family members. We have 2 iPhones and 2 sets of ReSound hearing aids, but only one Apple ID. It keeps dropping and switching connectivity to the ReSound app for each person. Has anyone see anything like this? I'm thinking it has something to do with the shared Apple ID or Bluetooth roaming on Apple OS devises.

Definitely cracked my HA tops by following this video instruction. If the HAs are rechargeable than these instructions are useless. I wish that was mentioned in the beginning of the video!

My hearing aids have forgotten each other. I have to choose whether to pair the Right or the Left. Is there anything that can be done?

This is outdated - I’ve not used batteries in current hearing aids for 3-4 years!

Great video, recommended by my fathers ENT office. My father who lives in another city has a tendency to loose his hearing aids. If I have them paired to my iPhone and I live 60 miles away will I still be able to locate them?

My aids are rechargeable so no battery door!!

We don't need App to be installed from App store if Apple detects My Hearing Aids. Am I right?
