So what makes the Laney Lionheart amps so good?

In the five watt models, you'll find single-ended Class A, and in the 20 watt models, parallel single-ended Class A. The Lionheart power stage is paired with a special preamp stage that gives a rich, open sound with plenty of bite when you need it. It offers crispness and cut with good clean headroom, and the ability to add break up or step into a searing lead tone when switching to the second channel.
