Hey Diamond I stumbled across your video when I typed in how to pay off a car loan early. Ever since I have been so engaged in your content as I'm working to pay off credit card debt and an auto loan. However all of your content is either 2 or 3 years old. Do you still financial content? If so I would love it if you can do a video on how to invest money. I hear so much about it but don't actually know how to get started

I want to tell you about my recent experience last year. I joined SamsClub for eight dollars for the year. Me and my daughter went there once or twice for gas we didn’t really like it. They don’t have coupons like BJ’s so we never really used it. I was working a lot of hours I missed the email. It was on auto renew so when it hit the credit card, I called Capital One and I said I did not authorize an auto renew. . at the time there was a bunch of construction near Sam’s Club so it was difficult to get there to. They wanted you to cancel in person. They wouldn’t let you do it over the phone so I called Capital One and I didn’t think that was right I disputed it well I missed the notification on Capital One they do not send you an email. They put it on their website under your account but you have to look for it. They don’t alert you that there’s an email saying that you have a response to the dispute. . I guess on the Fourth of July the $50 was put back on my account. I didn’t notice it because they hide it they just you know if you use the card a lot you don’t notice it so I just happened to look at the notifications when I was looking for my statement and I noticed it said all the merchant said it was valid so they put it back on. I called them up and I said, first of all, I change my charge card number I did not authorize any auto renew And it was Capital One‘s fault because the charge should’ve been denied and then if I wanted to continue with SamsClub. I would have to contact them to give them the new card number, but they are claiming that it’s MasterCard’s rules if somethings on auto renew, even if you change your charge card number They will put it to the new charge card automatically so I was furious. I had to go to Sam’s Club in person and cancel it and I’m going to when I have the time right Capital One a letter saying how dare you put me through all this the charge should’ve been denied so watch out on that and I asked the woman at Sam’s Club can you show me the paper where I agreed to an auto renewal she said she didn’t have it. It must’ve been on something I signed when I got the card we got only knows where that paperwork is right now. I don’t believe that I think it’s a scam, so just watch out on charge cards on the auto renew because I did not authorize that Capital One did not help me. They should’ve thought that for me like I thought they would have. I’m very disappointing usually I love Capital One , but not this time. How dare they let that charge go through after I change the charge card number it still went through and they are blaming it on MasterCard policies. . Thank goodness I still had the Sam’s Club card. I thought I got rid of it because I thought it was over good thing I found it but it was just a real hassle so watch out on auto renewals on charge cards make sure when you sign up for something it’s not on auto renew from Massachusetts by the way

Thanks for what you are doing but I find it comical that a lot of people use the excuse of “no one taught me this.” I’m 50 and remember when the minimum payment warning was NOT on the credit card statement once the government made them put it on there and everyone received their bill they can’t read that bold large print? Willful ignorance is NOT an excuse people are just foolish🤦🏽‍♂️ and choose to be in debt. People know when they maxed out their credit card and have to get another one to in turn max that one out and in the back of their mind they have $20k of credit card debt and only make $18k at their job🤯🤯🤯🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️. But no one taught them. Common sense isnt common and accountability is even rarer.

I'm 52 years old and have experienced the learning process of credit and debt along with the how-to's and so forth of rebuilding my credit score and income to debt ratio. But this video woke up some of my senses when it comes to "net-worth" the fruits we grow from our labor. A ton of people like myself are thinking of it by income subtract monthly bills to how much we have left over (cash) is our net-worth plus assets. Now this is true to a point but there's a lot more to consider when it comes to networth. Such as investments and assets (collectors items, houses things that gain value over time. With your reminder of net-worth for me really hit hard. These are things I was aware of but overtime I had lost sight of because I was too busy trying to keep my income well above my monthly debt payments. Thank you for this video I just hope it's not too late for me.

It's important to read the information in the welcome packet very carefully. It's written in lawyers legalize language. NEVER throw away this packet from any card you will need it as a reference in the future.

Here's my tip: Get a credit card, with reward points, from a major bank and as well download the mobile app of that bank. Use that credit card as your main one. Then look for a credit card at a credit union as they tend have lower interest rates than banks. But also look for one with 0% balance transfer.

That's what I do. Acculamate [manageable] debt or made a major purchase. Once I feel the interest and minimal payment is "too much," I just transfer a large portion of the debt to the credit union credit union and start paying off with less stress. As well, racking up points/cash rewards from the major creditor. Also, try to increase your credit line with your credit union credit card soon as possible.

Diamond just wanted to take a sec to tell u ur appreciated for the videos and education u provide I’m a Black Man and I get so sick and tired of us throwing up gang signs flashing guns or talking about how much a chain cost 💲 I grew up around that life didn’t realize until I was about 30 that wasn’t anything cool about that stuff, I wish our Black community could see more positive people like you it’s not about race but it really disappoints me when we try so hard to prove were more then what they think of us and being educated is a big part of that

I appreciate your videos man they’re AMAZINGLY helpful… If this is helpful for someone, this is my game plan with my credit card… I ONLY have ONE CC, and the credit amount is less than what I make monthly, this way it helps me budget my monthly expenses and save money since I don’t expend more than my credit card amount

everything you're talking about is behavioral. people try to buy "happiness". "happiness" has NOTHING to do with what you have. AND... of course the things you cant "afford" are the things that will make you "happy"...so you put those things on a card...the payment is only #30/month...then you buy something else and on and on and on......next thing you know...you are in trouble and life sucks. STOP trying to buy your happiness people. The credit cards aren't the problem!!!!! Then boo hoo poor me. Get it together people. Unlike our wonderful media is telling you...YOU CAN DO IT!!! Peace;-)
