In the old days of film, you buy high speed film for night time photo taking. My uncle has a huge V bottom boat and it such the fuel. One time when I was on his boat we were running low on fuel and not being a sale boat I was worried about running out of fuel which the engines run everything on the boat including navigating. Fortunately a fuel boat was on route and we got fuel and it was expensive and that was almost 10 years ago. The boat held 4000 gallons of fuel if I remember.

Looks like on a sailboat you have to take showers like we did when I was in the Navy on submarines... which they still do to this day. Despite being a huge modern ballistic missile submarine with a nuclear reactor large enough to power any small city, we were quite limited in the amount of potable water we could make from seawater. Electricity, we could pretty much make more than we could ever use but potable water... not so much. Between the still and the evaporator, we could only make about 10,000 gallons of potable water a day. That's it for the entire crew (about 150 people) for everything from cooking, drinking, showers, laundry, etc. So for showers, we took submarine showers which is when you turn the water on to get wet and then turn the water off. Then once wet with the water off you do all your soaping, shampooing, washing, etc. Then you turn the water back on to quickly rinse off and that was it. Roughly five gallons or so of water. As a reward to an individual for doing something big, the Captain would sometimes reward the person with a Hollywood Shower... which is the way the Hollywood type (and landlubbers in general) take showers... leaving the water running from the time you get in the shower until the time you get out. Oh how sweet it was to be rewarded with a Hollywood Shower! So after five patrols on the boat, I was conditioned to be very careful with potable water - subconsciously conserving as much of it as possible. But electricity and having the ability to make more than we could ever use, conserving that was not necessarily at all and not even something we ever even thought about. So after I left the Navy and came home, I was very careful to not waste water... but didn't care a thing about wasting electricity - leaving lights on all over the place; until one day my dad, noticing my habits with water and electricity, said... "Ummm, Troy... I'd much rather you leave the water run and turn the lights off when you're not using them because the electricity is a whole lot more expensive than the water."

Why do u pay water bills in the ocean? Just buy a tube to shower with the ocean water some ppl even buys that. Its healthy it u dont like it use a converter to clean the sea water to water

You could get ripped off like i am with home owners dues. I want to sell this condo and get away from the people that live here in this complex. It is not the same as it was when i bought in here 17 years ago. I have been in my condo longer than you have been alive. There is no glare btw - I have little to no control of my own home. They voted and now i can’t even have fires in my fireplace anymore. One reason why I bought this place. Some idiot with a loud muffler engine - just cranked up their car its so damn loud .. the engine now music if that’s what you call it has my walls vibrating.i hope they never come back.and Never again would i buy a condo!!
