Funny, the last one “communications is key.” When I was in 1954-1962 I was in comm all the time. Tanks, 12th Marines artillery top secret cryptography, camp LeJeune Base communications and finally comm instructor. I never considered myself “key.”it was always the “doing” Marines, the cannon cockers, the tankers (the greatest Marines ever). Only when I was a communications instructor for 1st Marine Division at camp Horno, Camp Pendleton, cal did I fully understand that comm was the key. No Marine ever accomplished anything by themselves, ever. And they had to communicate. Thanks for those reminders.

There is no such thing as cheating in a gunfight. To think there is, is foolish.
That said, how is cheating related to honor and duty, or God and Country, or even to your fellow Marine? Never liked that saying and still don’t.

The Marines switched handguns from .45 caliber to 9mm a while ago though, in the 1980s.

When i was in the first rule was, always win. Cheat like a motherfucker if neccessary. 2 there is no such thing as a fair fight. 3 if you should find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
