I just wonder how big the facility that has the molds and machine instructions for retired sets is as I doubt they just get rid of them and they just send them to a storage place like how ninjago legacy had pythor return I bet it’s just the old mold they just added new printing on it

Lego needs a interactive page called the Lego Vault.
To open the Vault door you have to put in a code which is whichever Archived Kit number you desire from any lego kit that has ever existed.
Lego then sends you that kit at whatever an up to date sensible price would be.
Instructions can be downloaded so no need for cost of instruction book.
Original box is not also essential,this fan base just wants the option to acquire and build the kit they missed out on.
This would allow all lego fans to buy any kit that's ever existed.
No more being taken advantage of by people who grossly put up pricing on discontinued kits.
Lego gets to make a LOT more money from the volume of extra sales this will generate.
Which may provide the opportunity to drop pricing slightly on new released lego kits.
