I'm having a problems hosting a lan non dedicated server. My roommate and I are just trying to play offline so we don't use up our hotspots because we don't have a reliable internet connection. I was wondering if it is possible to do something like this or not we are on computers on steam.

Both me and my friend use steam with no mods, we've put the tethering setting to max and for some reason our servers don't show up for eachother. I'm not sure if im doing something wrong or not but I'm looking for how to fix it

I'm trying to find out how to adjust the spoiler time so that meat for my carnivorous Dino does not spoil so fast in his inventory. Do higher numbers in the spoil time settings give the meat longer time before it spoils or lower numbers? I do not want to make it worse, instead of better.
