Damn this looks nice! And once again I even more strongly wish there was a proper open world Lord of the Rings RPG with high quality graphics, 'realistic' one could hyperrealistic designs, ahh to see many wonderful places of Middle-earth be it natural wonders or things crafted by it's various cultures it would be a dream come true. There are also myriads of places that never really got their proper visual representation, the elven White Towers on Emyn Beraid, the harbor port city of Mithlond was only glimpsed, one can imagine the city made into entire large location to explore hehe. Or city of Pelargir which could get some influence from the Venice for some visuals if one would like to follow the Tolkien note:
"Venice seemed incredibly, elvishly lovely - to me like a dream of Old Gondor, or Pelargir of the Númenorean Ships, before the return of the Shadow."
:) heheh. Dol Amroth and prince Imrahil's castle by the sea and so on. There is enormous potential for Lord of the Rings video games, hell there could be easily many games rivalling in sheer size and complexity and attention to detail, with say Witcher 3! (which itself has a very nice depiction of cities the places like Novigrad of Beauclair were done wonderfully in game). I wonder how far can go using this engine....it would be interesting to say for instance....make depictions of things never before seen on screen in Middle-earth....Gondolin and maybe it's Seven Gates:
"...the last of the ancient gates of Turgon that were wrought before the Nirnaeth; and it was much like the Gate of Silver, save that the wall was built of yellow marble, and the globes and parapet were of red gold; and there were six globes, and in the midst upon a golden pyramid was set an image of Laurelin, the Tree of the Sun, with flowers wrought of topaz in long clusters upon chains of gold. And the Gate itself was adorned with discs of gold, many-rayed, in likenesses of the Sun, set amid devices of garnet and topaz and yellow diamonds. In the court beyond were arrayed three hundred archers with long bows, and their mail was gilded, and tall golden plumes rose from their helmets; and their great round shields were red as flame."
Heheh, the only thing preventing this from being in any 'official' game would be licensing :) but a fan work I wonder. Ohh it's a shame that so far there has been no open world sandbox rpg hell even if it was just a clone of Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age (or at least in style wiht Baldur;'s Gate 3), Gothic even, or like ....Red Dead Redemption 2 :) with it's animation and physics and various vehicles, boats, carriages various steeds and freedom to explore hell it would be fun to have RDR2 style Lord of the Rings game certainly using it's camping and hunting mechanics and other stuff like that, engaging story and in depth exploration of lore......or hell even make more of the Assassin's Creed clones in Lotr setting, so we could have something like ...AC Black Flag mixed with Odyssey and Origins elements and also wiht faithful recreation of the Middle-earth locations and so on....ahh one can dram right? :)
What I’d give for a Souls game in Middle Earth that looks like this
Ответитьbro thats AMAZINGGGGGGGGG
ОтветитьAmazing. Imagine creating stories and making them as fantasy movies with your skills.
ОтветитьAnyway you would make this a game for people to download and play to walk around by themselves? Or make the files public for people to look at themselves in UnrealEngine?
ОтветитьYou could do the same with other cities/places? Rohan, meduseld
Minas tirith, the hall of king
The entire cavern of bridge of khazad dum
Minas morgul
Erebor cavern of smaugh
...or real things like castles
Or medieval real villages or cathedrals...into the pyramids, the koda house (full of secret doors) the patterson blacksmith house...
Looks like, someone used Dragonrend.
ОтветитьUsing the old Mixamo and Paint3D models? very nice. Where did you find the Minas Tirith model, or did you make it?
ОтветитьThey need to put some fencing up. Somebody could set themselves on fire and throw themselves off the top.
ОтветитьThat's insane, very nice work
ОтветитьDas sieht so Fantastisch aus, super Video;)
ОтветитьThis is beautiful. Is there any way of people accessing it?
ОтветитьBetter that the Hobbit trilogy combined. Well done! 👍🏼
Ответитьlooks awesome, nice
