I was trying to print my federal and state return. I noticed it's printing payment vouchers as if I owe money to the IRS. However, on the main screen, on top, it says that I am expecting a refund for both State and Federal.

if I did mine and pay for the deluxe, can I sign back in to do a new one for my daughter, or I need to pay again for her?

How is turbotax even still a thing? they are pure criminal, horrible evil people stealing from tax payers. The people who run this business are whats wrong with the economic world. Pure trash. Target lower pay citizens as well who can use the extra money at end of year to catch up with bills and survive but Turbotax says lets target them because they are easiest to get scammed. Truth is there people. A special place in the next realm for people like this if there is one smh.

Last time I'll use turbotax. Price keeps increasing and software got worse!

Good Evening....I filed my W2 and small business taxes with Turbotax, but I haven't mailed them out yet. I never efile. I needed to remove a business expense and it only allowed me to amend it because it was completed. Being that I haven't mailed anything out yet, can I mail the first return and the amended return all together? I owe a little over $300 more than my original amount owed, so I'll add that amount to the original amount.
Or, do I only mail in the amended return, being that I haven't mailed or sent a check yet?

I'm from Canada and therefore don't have your forms, but it seems to me that your problem with the 1099-K was when Paypal showed the tab "Stocks, Bonds 1099-B". Over to the right there is a pull-down arrow that indicates there may be other options like"personal item sales" under Paypal but you neglected to click on the pull-down. Therefore your return is showing that you have Stock sales which requires a premiere form and therefore an upgrade. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I've been tricked before with not seeing a pull-down tab option.

What is state allocation?

Do not use turbo tax! They will scam you into the more expensive plan. Then after all your hard work of entering your information into their system. You will have chosen the super extra premium edition which cost $90 extra, and you can easily start over and enter all that same information again (looking out for the upgrade scams) and hope to file for free. But I doubt it’s even possible to do it completely free on turbo tax.
The irs. Gov does it free for people making less than 70k

TurboTax dropped the ball this year. Purchasing the CD and I was appalled when I attempted to load it on my MAC as I had done many years prior. The error message said I needed a particular version of MAC OS, but I had the latest Apple MAC OS! The requirement was for an older MAC OS. Then I was forced to use TurboTax online which led to another problem of migrating last year's return. It would not upload the necessary file no matter what I tried! Then, I was forced to pay for the Fed and State again which I had already paid when I bought the CD. Then to top things off, an error message regarding the State return on a single line negated the ability to E-file and forced me to mail it in! Unacceptable! After decades of using TurboTax, they failed to deliver this year! Intuit appeared to appeal to gamers as they describe tax returns like a game or race for early refunds. I will use TurboTax next year but they must not repeat what I encountered this year!

I filed my federal taxes with Turbo but I need to file i guess a state tax return with my domestic partner since we live in CA. Ugh, this state return is confusing since we are told you file federal as individuals but state together

I came here yo prevent people from using turbo tax. It’s not free to file with them, as they claim and they hide it because it’s only for certain forms they file free. They tried to charge me $112 bucks for my taxes lol. I went to H&R Block and it’s much easier and better and you get the full refund without being forced to pay deluxe. It’s actually free

Make sure you file early so the swamp knows how much they'll have to funnel to Ukraine....if you still pay taxes, you're an idiot....

does logan or anyone else know in turbotax once financial information is input how to look at and print but not file the return with the IRS.

Is fast and easy with them but they take way too long for my returns. I pay $100 local office where I live and I get my tax return in 2 weeks max.. Turbo tax 1 month the earliest.

I used turbo tax for years ($50-250 a year) until I found out I could do the same return for free. Saved me $$$. I will never use turbo tax again.
