Snorkeling at the lighthouse, if sea is calm, there is a huge turtle thst hangs out inside the sea fence. Amazing experience. If seas are rough go to rocks across from crew beach and see so many fish, conch depending on time of year. I love it there. I go frequently just to visit this island.

I'm boarding the ship this weekend with some book club members. It's nice to know ahead of time about the wash cloths and smart elevators.

We cruised MSC last year on the Seaside, and were so impressed with it, we are looking to book this ship. Not sure I'm a fan of that balcony. I especially would not want to be your neighbors, as you can look right into their cabin. We liked the shows at Le Cabaret. We loved their private island. I hope they don't ruin it by over developing it. There are several nice beach areas, plenty of bathroom areas, and they have food truck throughout the island so you don't have to go to the main eating area.

The 5th Ave restaurant was not a specialty restaurant. We ate there every evening with our family, All 14 of us, our kids & grands. That was the restaurant that the best service attendant was, Abdul.

Fantastic looking ship, unfortunately, I don’t think we see those sized ships down here in Australia.

IDK about ocean cay still being under development just because it doesn't have a pool. Hasn't msc made the stance that they want it to be a marine reserve and not develop it too much?

Tony I thought extension cords were not allowed?

I was on the MSC Meraviglia two months ago, and the ship was beautiful like the seashore seems to be. The seashore appears to be more kid friendly. I was not a big fan of MSC Meraviglia's food quality and limited dining times. Coffee served in the main dining room was awesome. No top sheet on the Meraviglia, too. I asked our steward, and he said they don't use a top sheet because they change the duvet cover every three days. He did say he would put on a top sheet if we wanted one. I might try MSC one more time to see if it is better the second time around.
I loved the private island, it was huge, and you had multiple beach ⛱️ choices, including a calm lagoon. There are plenty of free beach chairs with lots of space.The bars, food stations, and restrooms are close to all the beaches. Ocean cay was the best part of my MSC cruise.

This ship is a beaut. I'm going on the inaugural voyage on the World America next year. Getting excited just looking at this ship. Look out Carnival, here I come MSC.😊

MSC's style is not my style. I don't like ships that don't look like ships on the inside. It's all sparkly and looks like one un-ending nightclub. I prefer the Princess style of ship. They are not so enclosed and there are more windows so there are many more vantage points where you can see the ocean.

Hubby and I was on the Seashore the first week in December. It is a beautiful ship and our room was great. The ship never really felt crowded anywhere except the buffet but that's pretty much on any ship. I do have to say the food and service are subpar compared to Royal Caribbean. The food in the main dining room was bland and the servers weren't near as friendly as the ones we've had on RC. We did try HOLA! and the food was good but again the service was lacking. A lot of people take it personally if someone did not enjoy their time on MSC. I do enjoy that there aren't that many children on MSC compared to RC and the drinks are more affordable. I have to say we will wait a few more years for them to get their service and food up to par before we sail with MSC again.

Glad you got sail on MSC Seashore Tony! We sailed on that ship December 3rd, 2023. We loved that ship! Definitely a favorite now!

Great review, beautiful ship. I won’t claim that I go to art museums but I do enjoy seeing art on the ships. I found Celebration was pretty sparse on the art. However loved the mosaic tiled bars. Those were stunning! This was a great review and I would be more inclined to book a trip now. I will add I’m not liking the ballrooms that have a view of the roof or the deck. I want water and only water. Good work Tony!

Are you able to bring extension cords on board? Or does the cruise ship provide them? How about power strip? Just curious on this because I want to start planning a trip.

Ummmm.... awesome video but I don't like dark brown wood. And I would be overwhelmed w all the digital stuff. I've only cruised carnival but perhaps msc in the future . Thanks for all the info.

MSC seems to get a bad rap but the ship looks beautiful. It looks like there is a lot to do and the buffet food looks delicious. And espresso at every bar? I may have to try them soon!
