Do the graphics card drivers still work on Windows 7 POS?

That doesn't change the fact that much modern software (like Chromium) won't get updates. Just use anything up to date. Either Windows 10/11 or any modern Linux distro...

trying to dualboot windows 7 is a nightmare on my older laptop… it always crashes on startup 😩

If the updates are technically compatible why not just support windows 7 till 2024..

It worked well and installed everything but after installing windows embedded standard 7 updates , ram usage went over 90% idle with nothing open besides antivirus, why?

UPDATE: Tried this on Windows 8.1 and I couldn't get it to work. Even after fully updating it and installing Server 2012 updates it wouldn't install. Oh well :(

Thank you so much bro, I was looking for this for so much time, it worked like a charm in my Windows 7 Enterprise copy, this is the only guide that really worked for me, I tried a billion different videos for ESUs updates and all of them failed when installing them, +1 Sub.

I would say to wait until Windows Update gets patched to give the POSReady 7 updates, like how Windows Vista got patched to give Server 2008 updates via WU.

Good video, but I don't recommend going back to Windows 7 unless you wish to be permanently locked to using Windows 7 software. Eventually developers of games and software are going to have to move on, even if they support it right now. BUT I do recommend this if you have legacy software that you currently use on a VM or separate computer.
