I have a simple problem using Focusrite with Audacity--and I've had it for a week because Focusrite and Audacity Forum can't seem to fix it. Can you? I just want to run a mic for a new track over music and record. Why is it so hard for experts to tell me what to do? Now, I get no sound going into the USB. What's the answer?

I just ripped a dvd on winx dvd platinum. I set my channels for sound to 6. How can I load my saved video to the program and open the sound wave to see that all 6 channels were filled, so I can get true surround sound? Thank you

I want to take excerpts from different songs and make a cd, but it won't let me import my iTunes songs to make it easier. How can I do that?

i don't have my own mic only the built in one what do i do

All my settings are correct but it still wont record. I use a Behringer interface, It recognizes it, and is set to in and output but wont detect any of the sounds. Been using Audacity about 11 years. This is with windows 11. I've tried re starting and rescanning. All volumes up. Have no clue why it wont record.

Do you know how i can turn off the feature that when i close down an open wave file/project Audacity also close's itself? So instead i end up with 50+ opened Audacity's since i don't want to re-open the program everytime i want to open a new file for editing!
