I don't get it. Most programs come with ready made animations, titles and animated titles. For Adobe you need premiere pro and after effects for some reason. Either way, either one you use, you basically have to create the text/titles and their effects from scratch yourself. Since you can do most of this in premiere already, what is after effects for exactly? So confusing.

HI, i like your tutorial. however on the first text animation, i fail to have all texts on all layers masked. Applying the Alpha inverted Matt leaves some layers hidden white others still visible. Where am i going wrong?

Great video! Just a note in case anyone else gets the same issue with No5 - the text needs to be centrally justified to animate from the center, otherwise it will be offset

Does anyone know how to get the alpha options on the track matte drop down menu? Mine only has the other objects in my composition as options.
