Honestly - I’ll be brutally honest - the people were NOT good in this city and I also faced “passive racism” . Also - this city has very xenophobic people & women- as soon as you cold approach them they instantly run away SCARED as if they’ve been TOLD not to communicate with any foreigner. One of the MOST XENOPHOBIC cities in Russia . also it’s very old city & same people have been living there for generations .. hence a very secluded Russian enclave this city is. had awful experience here. Other Russian cities are way better than this - when it comes to friendly girls.

If you love small and ethnical Russian cities, I recommend you the Suzdal city. In Vladimir region. I am surprised that foreigners rarely travel along the Golden Ring of Russia. This is a well-known tourist route through the first cities of Russia. I think it will be interesting not only for foreigners, but also for Russians. Near Suzdal Kideksha town has the oldest church in this region of Ancient Rus', Suzdal has own Kremlin with history about Minin and Pozharsky ancient heroes and the best Russian cuisine, mead drink, baths and horse-drawn carriages. It is also forbidden to build houses above the 4th floor there, this is a city-museum.

That was the first capital of Russia and Slavic nation !

В Москве вы тоже можете зайти внутрь Кремля посетить несколько музеев- Грановитую палату, Алмазный фонд и т.д. Надо только купить билеты

Нижний Новгород старинный город на торговых путях. Нижегородская ярмарка славилась на протяжении многих веков 🎉

Interesting fact! Nizhny Novgorod was not founded on the confluence of the Oka and the Volga. It was founded at the confluence of the Pochaina and Volga rivers. The area was similar to Kyiv and the city was laid exactly at the confluence of the Pochaina (the founders named the river after the river in Kyiv and a tributary of the Dnieper). Now the river has been removed underground, but you can get there.

Не уверена, правильно ли я поняла, но мне кажется, Вы ошиблись с Окой. Вся река, которая течет между двумя частями города - это все только Ока. Волга находится дальше. Она течёт под кремлёвским стенами и уходит вдоль города. Она не разделяет город, а течет только вдоль него

I dont know how much of Russia youve seen, but im guessing ``not a lot``. You should realy spend all the time you can spear, to travel around the country, as far as possible. Not because you will not get a nother chance. But because you are doing it now. And who knows when the nex time will come arownd. Time is pricless.
