HDMI 2.1 enables VRR on PS5. Very few 1440p monitors have 2.1 but you still can get 120hz at 1440p.
Ответить1440 p on my Samsung 4k tv looks the same looks identical I tried with madden 2k cod with Hdr on it’s looks amazing 💙🔥💙🔥 Xbox series s you Have to Allow 4k to play in upscale Hdr PlayStation 5 it’s 1440 p Native with Hdr Microsoft Needs to fix cause I rather 1440 p Hdr Native then upscale 💯
Ответитьbro what do u think about c635 on ps5 if i want to play at 120hz tho i know its dlg 120hz
ОтветитьAbout the best thing you stated to me was to wait for HDMI 2.1 to become more price friendly. Although I do agree the 2k on small monitors vs 4K is barely noticeable. This is what I’ve been struggling with for weeks now. Thanks for the clear concise explanation! Sub’s👍
ОтветитьI will stick with 55" QLED 4K 120hz
ОтветитьBro this video is so wrong. I have the tcl 6 series 65 inch. Hdmi 2.1. True 120hz, lightning response time, vrr. Open box at Best Buy $550 dollars. Probably the best gaming tv for the money I’d say.
ОтветитьWell 4k on 10tflops yeah it explains itself even the 3090-4090 strugles in some games at 4k and people want the ps5 to run 4K 120fps shure shure
Ответитьi have a lg oled 48” cx6lb tv which is 4k at 120hz what would you reccomend me setting my setting at in the playstation settings
ОтветитьI will stick with my 165hz monitor
ОтветитьSo should I change my resolution to 1440p ? On ps5
ОтветитьBro I play just story , RPG games so should I get a 4k 60 monitor/tv or a 1440p monitor?
Ответитьdidn’t new ps5 update make it so you can game 120hz with hdmi2.0?
ОтветитьIf I count how many times you said “trust me” I’ll be able to afford LG C2 42 inch tv.
ОтветитьI agree with this. I have a 1440p lg 144 monitor and warzone looks almost as good as pc( 3080ti)
ОтветитьHonestly don't know why it matters when there's only 10 games that run at 120hz
ОтветитьLatinos shine brighter than any other ethnicity or there! Always have, always will 😁
ОтветитьYou said 'trust me' like 1000 times and now i cannot trust you :D
ОтветитьThanks. Been checking out a lot of monitors and your video made me reconsider. Now I'm going for a 1440p/144hz monitor instead of a 4K/60Hz TV. You'll be getting a lot more bang for you buck with a monitor at a fraction of the price. Thanks man!
ОтветитьI normally don't trust anyone that repeatedly says "trust me"...
ОтветитьBut in LG C1 or C2 too?
ОтветитьFew things to note, there's quite a few monitors now available that are 4K 144Hz that support HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120Hz on console, Samsung G70A, MSI MAG281URF, Gigabyte M28U for example and if you have money to burn the Odyssey Neo G7 which is 4K 165Hz and Neo G8 is 4K 240Hz but that's irrelevant to console gaming as HDMI 2.1 doesn't even have the bandwidth to support either of those two monitors max settings.
TV lag is not bad if the TV is OLED as they provide much faster response times than your standard LCD screen as the pixels can individually turn off but between burn-in, price and size (few OLEDs are out in normal gaming sizes like the Alienware AW3423DW and LG's soon to release 1440p 240Hz OLED monitor), you're better off with a standard 1440p 120+Hz LCD display.
I intend to play competitive 120fps and I just want to know if ps5 performance mode will downscale to 1080p or if 1440p will be locked despite the fps output
ОтветитьHey man nice video! I have the exact same neon planet sign that you have in the background lol
ОтветитьI want to mention.. right now PS5 does not support the VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) with 1440p monitors..
But XBOX does.. so it IS possible for PS5 to eventually enable support for that too. If possible, get a monitor with VRR.
Just for future proof. But it is also possible Sony won't ever enable VRR for 1440p.
Edit: As of Feb 2, 2023 it seems Sony enabled VRR support for 1440p monitors.
I tested my new PS5 on my monitor 1440p 120hrz and my 4k 60hrz TV the monitor is far smoother and much better.
ОтветитьIThanks Man! We need more recommendation and support for 1440p cuz everyone is only talking about 4K 120hz HDMI2.1:blablaba highly expensive shit…
Got a MSI 1440p 165hz HDR10 1ms 27inch Monitor almost a year ago but didn’t get my hands on a Series X just yet. Still playing on my One X for 4 years by now, having never played with more than 60fps. But I’m about to get one for Christmas.
Hopefully it will impress me cuz 1440p60(One X) did not really if I’m honest. I always wanted to play 4K but had to prefer fps for shooters for the new console gen but still playin with 60fps and half 4K without true HDR.
I hope you can slightly understand what I mean by hoping not to get slightly disappointed with 1440p120 instead of 4K60 or 4k120
What do you think a 32 inch 1440p 144hz monitor for PS5?
ОтветитьU a mislead or bias price is less on a 4k TV n monitor and round the same In America 1 2 I play cod competitive its as good may be a lor more delayed but I dont really experience that n I went from. 1080 p to 4k a great difference however my tv doesn't support 1440p n im on a ps5 so it's dumb to pay more for less
ОтветитьI have 2160 x 3840 -120hz with VRR. My new Sony TV does not support the new 1440p format. Please tell me -have I at least got a better performing format than 1080p -120Hz??
ОтветитьHey man, what monitor are you using? And any recommendations for a decent 2k monitor. Thanks in advance. 👍🏻
ОтветитьI have the Lg27gp950 monitor for my ps5. It's 27" @4k 120hz. Do you recommend Change the settings on my ps5 resolution to 1440p for better performance? Or does it not make a difference if I leave it at 4k?
ОтветитьI think samsung Odessy g7 28inch is 4k 144hz with HDMI 2.1, and its available at very good discount price as of today
ОтветитьGreat video buddy , I’ve just ordered a new screen for my Ps5 to run 1440p 👌👌
