You look great, I think any v neck usually helps a lot with the waist. My problem with wrap dresses is usually the back. They tend to show bit loose/baggy and kill the lines in the back unless they are made to fit the thin waist. I kind of remember my mother used to create a 5-10cm wide stripe of very thin pleating with a special machine to the back, waist level, of her summer dresses. The pleating worked as elastic and made wonders to cinch the back.
