The camera is great, the beard is even better.

Getting a second one soon. Nikon has no video camera so they have nothing to lose by throwing in great video specs in this camera.

Fascinating insight to what it takes to control the visual image so that the finished image effects don't become the dominant element and possibly overshadowing the content of the story.

Still WAITING for the promised ProRes RAW that we bought the filmmaker’s kit since Feb! Was supposedly to be delivered in August 2019 but I understand that it’s been delayed and - when delivered - will require turning in the Z6 for a $50ish “fix” which we are still waiting. Personally, I’m holding up on a major project so that I can start shouting with a consistent workflow... fingers tapping.

No shame in being UNDER exposed... GOT underexposed their entire dreadful Season Eight and spent millions...

Did you try the autofocus while in N log ?

Thank you for an excellent and humoristic demo for a complete amateur like myself. The setup, extra lighting, styoryboard. Very helpful and I think that the on-camera monitors are too small anyway, if you want to be a bit serious, so the Atomos Ninja 5 seems like something I have to consider seriously.
