Can you share the case you used for the Vision Pro at the beginning?

This is pretty amazing, and I like how the vision pro remembers the visuals as you move around the room from work to play areas.

You haven't said a word about your physiology, so i have few questions.
You said you were surprised by brightness. Computer screens usually makes us blink less, leading to drying eyes. What if everything around you is a screen. Have you experienced any eyestrain because of those variables after pulling them off?
Since those screens are fixated your eye muscles weren't doing their job. Did you have problems with focusing your sight at distant objects?
You said that image from pass through was very shaky, however you seem not to walk much, did it influenced your sense of balance?

I made from myself a experimental rat when i bought my Quest 2 and tried to use it for work and when it turned out it cannot be used due to terribly low resolution, i switched to overall exposure. After wearing it for 4-5 days 6-8h everyday it started to mess with my brain and senses really hard. After 7th day i had to quit it because i lost my depth perception for over a 4h what could be dangerous.

The windows stay put across multiple rooms?!?! Holy shit I get that 3500 is a lot but this tech is honestly insane for 1st gen. Not to mention how amazing the pass through quality is compared to every other vr headset

Does it work with other wireless buds or only airpods? Other brands allow multiple connected devices solving the one issue you ran into.

Sorry not sold there is absolutely nothing this can do thet I can’t do with a laptop!. Literally absolutely nothing!. It’s not like the mobile phone that evolved the home telephone that was tethered to the wall by a phone wire. Meaning you could take your phone everywhere and anywhere. The iPhone/smartphones are an evolution of that. This Apple Vision Pro is not a revolution or evolution of anything. Because it cannot do one single thing you can’t do with a mobile phone laptop or desktop!. Sorry not the future, apple isn’t. AR is, in the form of a pair of sunglasses that orgment the world around you constantly updating in real time. Say you play snooker it’ll overlay he perfect speed and angle to hit the ball, or it’ll calculate the perfect throw to hoop a basketball!. Sorry apple is not the future or AR and sure Vision Pro is not the future lmao.

How far away can to take the Mac virtual display from where the MacBook physically is? Like is it a direct connection or more like Remote Desktop over LAN/internet. And if it’s Remote Desktop, how is the latency?

Please can any single person create the very first video that describes what it is like to use the Apple Vision Pro as a stand alone productivity device?
1. Not everyone is a video editor. Work does not revolve around video editing. You can be productive without editing a video.
2. Not everyone has $8'000 to blow on an Apple Mac AND an Apple Vision Pro. For some people, it is one or the other.

Therefore, I am desperate to get a feel for what it is like to pair the Apple Vision Pro with nothing but a Magic Keyboard. To type up documents in Microsoft Word. To design presentations on Microsoft Powerpoint. To practice them in Keynote. Maybe to edit photographs, even if only in lightroom. And to create computer programs using iPad and iPhone compilers in the app stored (I am hoping and assuming that the developers have not all opted out).

two things that make no sense to me:

1. why did they even bother with the fancy single strap when the more traditional two band strap is way more comfortable. this could've at least been $200-300 cheaper just because of that probably.

2. this is billed as being able to replace your monitors. why is there not at least the option for dual monitors when connected to a mac? triple would be ideal and the ideal limit for most people but the fact that you can only have one screen and then what amounts to a bunch of ipad apps next to it just makes it feel more like a toy to me.

I have watched a lot of videos on the Vision Pro, including reviews, and what strikes me is that the reviewers always say "you CAN do that...", "you CAN do this..." but it never looks like it would be more convenient to actually do it with this device compared to a regular desktop computer.
And same here, the title of the video is "I WORKED 8 hours", but it does not feel at all like the reviewer did 8 hours of actual work with the Vision Pro. So far it looks like a very impressive and very nice toy, but absolutely not something that you want to use for 8 hours to work (and the reviewer seems actually very relieved when he takes it off at the end of the video).

Thanks, this was a really nice and informative presentation of real word use cases and usability.
Hopefully some of the shortcomings can be fixed.
My take:
1) Audio stream mixed in from both MacBook and Vision Pro apps.
2) At least two virtual MacBook screens
3) Seamless macOS apps, just drag an app window out from your virtual desktop into the AR world and interact with it like a Visual Pro app. This could work if macOS apps could opt-in on Vision Pro support and be recompiled with it. (Obviously a lot of complexities involved under the hood to enable this, but probably doable). With 3 available on most apps, point 2 is maybe not needed.
4) Much larger field of view
5) Even sharper AR
6) Weight
7) Share window/app publicly or to group of users. If in group or it is public and you are in Vision Pro, close to the app’s placement, you all see it in the same place and can interact with it. (Bonus: maybe there will Vision Pro app server devices, to publish public Vision Pro apps, fixed to a certain surrounding 😂)
