It works in sketchup 2016. For people that use this version like me, you need to Save it .dae and it export in unity with all textures. Sorry for my bad english

How did you get the light on your model? No shadows?

So doing this in UE4 requires you to :

1) Install a middleman plugin to convert sketchup into uassets

2) Oops! Your sketchup pro has expired. Please pay us hundreds of dollars.

3) Thank you for paying! Now you can convert your Sketchup into Unreal!

4) Conversion is finished

5) Resulting mesh is missing textures, meshes.

6) Uninstalls UE4, asks Google for a refund.

when import .skp to unity with drag option , imports without textures, what can i do?

do i need to flip my faces or do anything special for unity!because i used to use unreal all my faces would disappear and it was very buggy!great vide btw!:)

Look you have some good info, what this lacks is audio instructions and more details in your outline. I feel everyone would benefit from a better explanation. It may seem simple to you but for new users details matter.

I thought Unity was a GUI for one of the Ubuntu (or Debian) distros?

it will not import by dragginf, its just a blank page on the object

Any1 knows an easyer way to get pictures from your model into unity 3d without deleting wall behind picture/ hiding wall

it's all good and nice but there is problem with sketchup and blender. If u import objects from sketchup and blender to unity textures are not working correctly. Can u fix this problem as well?
