I added hot glue to the base of that RX wire after my first one came with it broken off before it even was taken out of the box. I also then run it turning around the rubber column and under the bridge frame. I put another dab of hot glue holding to to frame and then pinched the end up verticle in front of the frame bridge.

I also added 4 little hot glue feet mounds to the frame the batter sits in. Makes landing it not damage the frame or batter and if your hot glue feet wear down you can scrape the worn foot off with fingernail and replace with another.

I ended up buying the Walksnail version after getting tired of crashing my 3d printed peon230… and it trying to kill me…

If I have DJI goggles 2 and DJI RC and DJI motion controller as well is it compatible with any of those ?

I just looked up the weight of the mobula 8 Versions.
The O3 is 80g and the Walksnail is 48g.

Flys like a turd. Too heavy, I pulled out the O3 and put Walksnail in. MUCH better flying with not as nice video as O3.

The FC has a Built-in BMP280 Barometer, how would you get that on the OSD working ?

Joshua I have the analog PNP Mobula8. It has the v1.1 X12 AiO FC with an open VTX in-built to the FC. I see 2 available UARTS in BF configurator. UART 1 is for Serial. UART 2 is for TBS Smartaudio. Is there another UART available on the FC? Someone on FB said there is. I asked them to explain where the UART is, but they haven’t replied back yet. I want to add a nano GPS module so I can use GPS Rescue. I’m considering re-purposing UART 2 for the GPS module and just running the VTX at full power all the time. But then there is the wait to get a GPS lock while the VTX is blazing away and burning thru the battery… kind of a dilemma. Thoughts?

JB, I bought the separate air unit and assembled it later, updating with the latest version listed on the happymodel website and loaded the data dump, but when I occasionally crash the quad and need to use turtle mode, a message appears to me "RPMFILTER" and I can even untap the quad, but I can't arm it again. Do you know what it could be?

Really great video, as usual. I'm having a hard time deciding between the Mobula8 and the Pavo Pico. How's the noise of this one compare? And would a larger battery (850mah) be viable for either of them for longer flight times? Durability is what's making the Mobula8 attractive. Noise level, vibration dampening, and props not-in-view are what make the Pico attractive. Appreciate any feedback on this dilemma. I'm looking for something unintimidating and reliable, only considering the O3 versions.

I just got the mob8 with the o3. Didnt find the right size batterys. Flying it with 650mah 75c tattu r. Battery drains so fast, like if i go full throttle the o3 shutts off in couple of seconds. Im a newbie to this hobby. Is the battery the problmes here or what else can it be? All the batterys are new.

I was watching this video and am interested in getting into FPV. I only have DJI Air 2S cinema drone. I don't know much about controllers, so I was wondering...Do you know if the DJI motion controller 2 and Goggle 2 will fly this drone well?
I don't feel like I'm real coordinated with sticks. I used to fly RC nitro planes years and years ago, but I'm just not sure how coordinated I am with sticks anymore. I thought maybe the motion controller 2 would be something I might want to try just to play with a small drone and have fun.

Looks great. I do prefer the HDzero or walksnail one as they are both nearly half the weight of the DJI mobula8. But nothing beats the DJI quality.

Antenna is great! If it breaks you only need solder on a piece of wire to fix. Ufl connectors are fragile and are easily destroyed. Fix for them is no easy!

What platform can absorb walksnail mini 1s? Is 75mm with 802 25k kv motors will do?

funny, probably because of the light, but I would have expected from the o30's onboard dvr to look much better than that, I think I've seen cleaner/sharper image from analog+4k onboard dvr boards that looks better than this

Could I just use the o3 reciever and my dji controller by changing it in BF?

The 4 holes in the frame are useless... I can't use my happymodel 4 holes motors... It doesn't match....

Slightly off-topic question, but that plug that goes from the 03 air unit where the harness attaches to the board. What would I do if I broke one of those off the board? Do I need to solder all of those little Pinz back on? Can I use electrical conductive glue? Or can the plastic harness itself just be glued down and is that enough to make contact with the Pins?

I'm on a super-tight budget, so I'm looking at getting an analog version with ELRS. I'm going to get an 03 mount and bodge my Caddx Turtle V2 into it. Looks like it'll fit.
