Since Search gives us the flexibility to structure campaigns and targeting options based on conditions we set ourselves, sort of "pre-defining" our target audience based on the keywords we are aiming to perform against, not so much the avatar, as you mentioned in the video, so my question is the following:

Do you believe this is much more efficient on Display than the rest of the channels? how would you use it in an actual campaign?.

Great breakdown - the issue I've had with building these audiences is when I get massive numbers on audience size for search terms that I know don't have that kind of volume.

For example, trying to build something around search terms like "Life insurance lead generation" - I'll get an audience size of 50-100M when search volume behind that keyword is not even 3k/month. Tough to have faith in the audiences without testing and getting primary data.

when you add a custom audience to a campaign, will it override the keywords you selected, or work with them (like the "or" relationship you mentioned) earlier?

From your experience, how many search terms do we need to enter in order for a custom audience to drive a sustainable campaign? I was told by another agency that I need a minimum of 25 and ideally 50-100 search terms in my custom audience. If I don’t, they say, the campaign “will just die”. even if I use broad search terms, like, for example, “used car” in conjunction with nationwide location targeting, the campaign will still due too quickly. Has this been your experience? What audience size, as per predicted impressions, are needed for a functioning and scalable campaign?
