God bless you
ОтветитьHonestly, I am a sixth grade student, but my mom still wants me to prepare early for the SAT. At first I felt that it's impossible to have a high score (like you, of course), but after watching your video, I feel more confident. Thank you so much for this masterpiece!
ОтветитьI have this soon but I never searched for it...
ОтветитьIM SO SAD THAT PSAT IS ONLINE THIS YEAR :(
ОтветитьNice video, Very information thumbs up
Ответитьi just wanna ask that r u native speaker?
ОтветитьMy SAT is turning digital so I can't write on the test😭😭😭
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing this. I really appreciate the time you took to make this!
ОтветитьPOV: SAT is in 2 days and you haven’t started studying yet 😭
Ответитьthx bruv
ОтветитьThank you
Ответитьbro I wish I saw this vid when I was studying for the SAT :')
Ответитьi took the august sat and got a 1590- perfect score on reading! thank you so much for your comment about how everything we need to answer the questions will be in the text, really helped me not jump to conclusions!!
ОтветитьMy daughter is taking the PSAT soon. I sent this to her. The algorithm knew I needed to see this to send to her I guess lol😂
Ответитьumm okay but why you sitting like that
ОтветитьWhat if I'm thinking about the words and not their meaning, or I'm nervous and can't put the words together to make them have a meaning?
ОтветитьDominion, dom, dominance, supreme, supremacy
ОтветитьHuh cool I scored 50 away from perfection so let’s see how you did it
ОтветитьYou’re strategy for the quote section really makes things clearer thanks
ОтветитьWish me good luck
ОтветитьTHANK YOU I LOVE YOU
Ответить1600? Damn you must be really smart
ОтветитьI want to clarify something important: everyone has their own way of doing things. Watching videos on SAT tips and tricks doesn't help you sometimes. Most tips and tricks videos tell you their way of studying and doing the questions. They could be like "passage first, then questions" or "look at the questions first, then read the passage" and "the answer is obviously D for this question, look at the passage it mentions it" and think that they helped you. You might feel more confident after watching one of these videos, but in truth these videos do not help you at all if you just started studying for the SAT. The people making these tips and tricks videos already have a advanced mindset by learning from their own experience. For example, as I mentioned earlier, one of the people in the tips and tricks could be like "the answer is obviously D for this question, look at the passage it mentions it" which would seem really easy, but in truth, it's not easy at all. If you had just started studying for the SAT you wouldn't be able to identify and analyze the passage like the person in this video, which is a huge problem: the questions that you think are extremely hard are just basic questions to the "tips and tricks" people and they will think that you already know how to analyze so they will give you some tips like "look at the passage the author says blah blah blah and it is related to the answer choice D so the answer is D for this question" which would make the beginners think they understand but actually makes no sense for them.
If you still don't understand what i'm saying, here is how a tips and tricks person would react to a question:
Question: The author mentions "sharpener shavings" (line 10) in order to portray a mood of
A: unrestrained joy
B: sentimental reminiscence
C: bitter disappointment
D: cautious optimism
Tips and tricks person: C because you can obviously make a inference in what mood the author is trying to portray
Average beginner studying for the SAT: ohhhh i get it now (but actually it doesnt help him/her at all
What do you recommend for someone who hasn’t yet practiced taking the SAT should I just begin off using khan academy without having much knowledge of calculus and such.
ОтветитьGreat job going back and circling the pieces and then summarizing them back -- e.g. new tech directly. Niceeeeee.
Ответитьhey i just wanted to say thank you so much for this video you don’t understand how much it’s helped me. i just took the SAT today as i’m writing this. normally when i take the SAT i run out of time in the last 5-10 questions but this video genuinely helped me!! i literally finished all 52 questions to the reading and 42 to the writing 10 minutes before they both ended!!! you are a very good explainer and you deserve the world i genuinely am so grateful for you i never thought i would feel so confident in reading until this video. you are a lifesaver and you deserve the world ❤️
Ответитьgood luck to the august 26th test takers!! this helped me feel a bit more confident about my test tomorrow
ОтветитьAnna: "My vocab is bad"
Also anna: uses the word jargon
My life saver thank u sm❤
ОтветитьIt's taking me way too long to use your technique for the two part reading questions. About a minute 30 to circle lines, a minute to read the lines, and another 30 seconds to conclude the answers. After all that, I still usually get one of the questions in the pair incorrect. Is there something I'm missing, do you circle then read the whole passage, noting the key lines and then answer, or?
ОтветитьGuys the sat is on my birthday!
ОтветитьThis is probably the best SAT video I've ever seen, others just give very generic tips and some book recommendations but yours was truly helpful, thank you
Ответитьit sounds like they changed the sat to more verbal maybe i should just take gre math/physics and or clep a level online from the uk i am going to be on adult student i wish they still had the subject tests where you could showcase your strong areas i have adhd and see visuals in my mind while reading and it will not even be on the subject at hand maybe i should try and take the ap tests
Ответитьi basically failed the verbal 303 on the sat in 1983 got 789 on math i have a home copy of the sat yet no outside source evidence i have to take the sat over again terrified of verbal great information! your video is awesome! 😊
Ответитьmanifesting i score high on my test tomorrow 🙏🏽✨✨
ОтветитьOf everything, reading tests have always been my biggest weakness. Thank you for these tips though, especially the one about the two-part questions!
ОтветитьTaking my August SAT on the 26th. My current superscore for practices tests is 1250 and I'm hoping to get it up. I have a 710 in Reading/Writing and a 540 in both math sections. I'm trying to get my math up still, I've always struggled with it. The tip on the two-part reading questions may help boost my score up a little bit to get my superscore up. Thanks so much for the tips! I'll update everyone on my August SAT score in the form of an edit of this comment. Wish me luck!
ОтветитьIm 15 and just bored, idk maybe i can get ahead in school while i still have plenty free time? I truly have nothing to do for the next 2 weeks 💀
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!!! I’m going to be a freshman in high school this august so I’m trying to prepare myself for that test!!!
ОтветитьI like how these tips are based on experience, not just basic knowledge of how the test works. This is a video you can't really get anywhere else. It should have way more views.
ОтветитьHoly crap I went straight from averaging 10-15 wrong on the reading section to 7 wrong!! Thx SO much
ОтветитьYour advices helped me a lot, thank you very much
ОтветитьHello! I'm going to be taking my SAT in about 2 months and the reading portion has been such a bad part for me during my practice tests but these tips seem super helpful so I'll be applying them in my next study session :)
im trying to get a 1530+ on my SAT so I hope with these tips my reading section will be good!
Thank you :D
I literally just watched this 15 minutes before my sat in the morning and watched a 1 hour math video the night before and got a 1500. Thank you so much!
Ответитьi already know all this idk why im here
ОтветитьHey Im taking the SAT in August. It’s computer-based and I heard that the SAT test will change completely. Like the paragraphs are gonna get shorter and questions will be changed. So im so confused right now. 1. Is it true that the SAT’s question will all change? 2. Then, is essay necessary?
ОтветитьLove these tips! (also this is the 1600th comment on the video so fingers crossed that this is a sign)
