There is only one Dawn of War, the first game.
No proper base building in DoW 2, too squad focused, just not a great successor.
Nonetheless the Mod is damn impressive.

i tried today. but it crashed on me when loading up. And i like 'Well, this mod is just a waste of my time, i'll just stick to the vanilla DOW 2: R anyway' captain i kid you not. Why the fuck do anyone want to play a mod without add a manager on it? i mean, Sins of the solar empire has one or three. and i still played on Star wars to Freespace. but none are as broken as this mod itself. i fully 100% sorry to anyone else i just need to get this off my chest

I downloade him, follow the steps, but the mod just dont work and now a cant even play de normal game, i already try to uninstall and reinstall my DoW2 retribution but continuing dont working, anyone can helpme ?

Still hoping this mod actually does support the GOG version at some point though, cause the vanilla gameplay puts me to sleep & it'd be legit good to not be gated hard from a mod just cause i typically stick to buying older games on the storefront that's made for them

Currently the only way to have infantry in an Imperial knights army is to either use agents of the imperium and add them in. Trouble is you only get 2 squads and 2 heroes, or add a single knight to an imperial army.

my game doesnt launch anymore when i install the mod... clicking the daw2codex.exe or via steam..

Anyone know how to keep the game from crashing. I get it to start up and I've been in a couple of single player vs 1 ai, but it continuously crashes.

A shame I can't play this game properly. On my PC anyways. It seems always hard coded to crash after a few minutes of gameplay. Regardless if my computer can actually run it.

Would love to play it but none of my Dawn of War 2 games will launch on Steam. 900 hours into the 3 games never had any issues just tried booting it up for the first time in over a year and yeah notta. Sigh

The mod update is out! So you can download it over on ModDB using the link in the description.
That version has had a few more polish passes I'm told.
