What about browning the chicken putting it off to the side then reducing the sauce putting the chicken back in basting it for the last few seconds. Seems to me like that chicken will be dried right out.

I made this but I cut the honey by about 1/3 and added some ginger. Serves with some vegetable lo mein and some stir fried green beans. It came out pretty tasty but if I was to do it again I wouldn't cut the cross pattern into the breasts. I'd either flatten the breasts out with a mallet or just use chicken tenders.

Sophie has great ASMR cooking (as long as you can't hear kids in the background). It is nice not to have to listen to someone babbling the whole time. :)

Just from the look of the original video, it looks dry, too sweet, and too sticky…gross.

I have made this chicken recipe several times but I use lemon juice instead of vinegar. Awesome. 💕

It's German and it's garbage. Essen means eating and Rezepte means recipes. All those cooking channels that state "It's so easy and delicious I cook it a thousand times a week' are fakes. I block most of them because they are mostly wrong in what they do! A lot of them claim they're authentic recipes and I can vouch for it that they are not! lol

I just made this, twice and it was a hit. Word of caution: make sure your reduction doesnt over reduce because youve a large chicken breast.

You dropped the chicken presentation side first, which she did NOT, but it bothered me to see that she dropped the flat side first. Love your videos.

Made this recipe last week. I personally thought it was WAY too sweet. I knew it would be a bit much when the recipe calls for 1/3 cup honey vs 1 tbsp of soy sauce, but I always follow the first recipe to a T.

The other issue with an extremely sweet meal like this is it's hard to pair it. Syrup doesn't really go with green beans ya know.

Totally a great dish to get you started. Simple to make, and it can easily be adjusted to suit your taste. Lets a beginner learn the pan sauce technique, with results that'll impress.

I cut down the butter and syrup a little bit but I've been making this recipe for a couple years. I eat it all the time. It's good for meal prep. I love it.

The slices seem pointless honestly, you gain a tiny bit of visual appeal in exchange for making it slightly more annoying to eat. The dish is swimming in the sauce, there's going to be 0 issues mopping up as much as you want. Purely clickbait for the thumbnail.

Made this the other day. As I tend to do, I overcooked the chicken (I never seem to get it right) but it was still very good. I will be trying again.
