PenBBS 308s- see all 19 I have

Thank you for sharing. Your videos got me interested in BBS/ Kaigelu pens. I looked at some BBS but never did pull the trigger. Love your collection.

These are such great colours. I'm hoping that there are still a few 456s around. I kept missing them. Would that be the Jinhao 1935 Tiandao coming up? Mine will be here tomorrow. Tiandao means Way to Heaven and is a word used on religion and philosophy in China. I just think it's a cool pen. Gotta have that guitar clip!

Is PenBBS still making pens? They have been very quiet for a long while, in models and color ranges.

What a beautiful 🌈 rainbow. As someone who was just recently able to acquire some Penbbs pens, I really enjoyed seeing yours. You said you were thinking about downsizing. If you ever want to release Frostfire, the pen you first identified as Hawaii, or Amber; let me know.

A very nice collection, Chris. I did the same thing with Retro 51 with about the same number of pens. I reduced my amount to 5 from over 20. I have not had any regrets. It was a tough decision for me but glad I did.

As far as your collection I think Autumn is a resin that really attracts my eye, along with Symphony. I like that you can eyedropper fill the barrel.

I do have a 323 with the snow resin. It does have a translucent body.

My copy of the 1935 is supposedly out for delivery today. We'll see if that is true...

Great video, Chris. I hadn't realized before the wide variety of resins they made their pens from. Personally I like the Nephrite Green/Jasper & the Vermouth colors. The one PenBBS model that had eluded me is the 487 magnetic piston filler. That is, up until yesterday when I was able to order one after months of it being unavailable. It will be interesting to hear your plans on how you will go about downsizing if/when you do. Looking forward to seeing your review of the 1935 Tiandao!!

I think I have 22 PenBBS pens of assorted models but I have always preferred the 308. It seems to have all the right dimensions and curves, the weight is dead perfect and the design classic. So much versatility and, at the time, resin choices were amazing. With your display of 19 of these pens, it was almost like watching pen porn. For the hardcore pen fan, you know you should look away but you can't. It really was a lot of fun seeing all of them out like that. It does make a person wonder what he is doing with that many things and the idea of downsizing can make a lot of sense. It has crossed my mind also. Nice overview of this affordable and useful model. Thanks, Chris. Some pens with resins like, or identical to, the multicolors, are apparently very desirable among a segment of penpeople. When you decide to cut down, will you announce, or just distribute some to your fans? Curious collectors want to know.
