I would go and use it for grip tape
ОтветитьI've got two little segments of grip tape towards the toe of my ball hockey stick. I'm not certain but I feel like it imparts a spin on the ball. I'm not sure how it compares to commercially available grip tape though, I yoinked it from a factory job.
Ответить3m and hockey canada used to have a product at Canadian tire that you apply on top of your hockey tape. Was like a black tar and I actually really liked it, but it did add a decent amount of weight to the blade of course.
ОтветитьHas anyone else noticed Chippy's jersey number??
ОтветитьCoach chippy bout to toe drag release on those bums 😂
ОтветитьAlthough there is no specific rule against this both unsportsmanlike conduct and illegal equipment can be used if the ref doesn’t like it
Ответитьjust checked the USA Hockey rule book... there are no rules prohibiting any type of tape, the rules only state that "adhesive tape" is permitted anywhere on the stick. most leagues follow the USA Hockey rules for equipment so US players are good here 😉
ОтветитьYou are cheating
ОтветитьFull
ОтветитьExperiment with “carpet tape”. Would love to see what you boys come up with.
ОтветитьTake your water bottle and get that sticker wet then scrape of with a credicard or something similar. 👍

Ответитьnext you guys should do grip tape
ОтветитьHi coach Jeremy. I've got an idea for a wrap around (blade protector) alternative. Can you please try kevlar tape? It's abrasive resistant and not bulky. I've no idea if it will work, but I think you are the perfect person to try it. Thank you for your time and content.
ОтветитьIt's just griptape. That's the proper name. When I used to play hockey, I used to use the scrap grip tape from my new skateboard decks to put across the blade of my stick. I was held down with hockey tape. Refs didnt really care as how yong i was and was around when parents really didnt give a shit for anyone except their kids. Over time though, griptape wears off from water and typical wear. It wasn't bad, but would slowly go to shit and was pain to remove with spray adhesive I'd use. Lol
ОтветитьIDK where these guys are from, but as a canadian ref, the tread tape is 100% illegal.
ОтветитьThe waffle house has found it’s new host
ОтветитьWhat about clear plastic tape? Ever tried that TJ?
ОтветитьI looked up under USA hockey reg. 301 it states. “Adhesive tape of any color may be wrapped around the stick at any place for the purpose of reinforcement or to improve control of the puck.” So as long as it has an adhesive backing to it it’s ok. I put some grip tape on and wrapped the some regular stick tape on the ends and middle to prevent it falling off. So far it’s held up. A couple of puck fights and it does begin to flake a little.
ОтветитьLook at the mitts on that first bingo 👀
Ответитьpretty sure the grip tape for hockey is already a product tho
ОтветитьShould try gummy double-sided tape (aka carpet tape).
ОтветитьJ'ai déjà mis un papier sabler avec un côté collant sa un grip incroyable lol la puck colle sur le tape je fesait dla magie lol avec ca mes jai jamais retrouver ce tape la dans un magasin meme pour la construction
ОтветитьI'm a golie soo.......
Ответитьnext illegal sticks
ОтветитьYo wsp I’m on my moms account but I have a 3 hockey sticks and how is it illegal
ОтветитьI tried the tread tape idea. Works until.... You get snow on the blade 🙂Honestly, I like stick wax. The tackier, the better.
ОтветитьIllegal tape job? never heard of such a rule
ОтветитьNice episode actually ! Consider also Gorilla tape. It's so heavy duty that it feels like it will protect your stick and keep moisture out pretty well. It rips pretty easily which is convenient without scissors. But the downside is it's pretty hard to get off from your blade, it leaves glue residues.
ОтветитьTry rezzetek if you liked that grippy tape
Ответитьcoach chips must’ve been hitting forearms with bedard
ОтветитьStyle and flow😂
ОтветитьLETS GO COACH CHIPPY IN THE HOUSE!
ОтветитьI always imagine the opposing team on these videos to be the Washington Generals.

ОтветитьThanks to you guys illegel curve is a thing of the past
ОтветитьIs your dad coach Peter?
ОтветитьGretzky use to put baby powder on his taped blade
ОтветитьLove the Idea!!
ОтветитьMy tape job goes from the end and covers the toe
ОтветитьI was the first to reverse tape with duct tape 😂
ОтветитьI used to play hockey for a long time in Sweden. Tape with tar isn't common but it does exist! I had tarred cloth tape on a couple of my sticks and it did perform decent but once the blade froze it became normal tape more or less, just a tad bit more grip when frozen. Snowcovered is just snowcovered, no grip at all like always. Everyone who came into duels with me could smell the tape hahaha.
ОтветитьToe drag release
ОтветитьIs chippy on the old paint cams noW?
ОтветитьHave it put on at a skateboard shop
