NEW GRAPHICS COMPARISON | Life is Strange Remastered Collection

The scenes from Chloe's bedroom look awesome. The bathroom scene...that's where Chloe's eyes seem unnecessarily big. But Nathan's expressions are excellent, I think generally the face mocap has done a lot of positive changes. What I don't understand is why is everyone in the Remaster so pale - they removed the lively, pink shade from Max's hands. And yeah, like people commented below, I don't get those white, rubbery teeth. Those should be more realistic. But who knows how will it look on the actual consoles. So far I feel like they've delivered what was promised. The thing is, it'll never please everyone. And some people's comments feel like they were pre-determined to hate on the Remaster, regardless of how it would look like.

Max has different features in the remastered version. I prefer her softer more childlike features from the original. It brought out her shyness and awkwardness more, especially next to Chloe's confident gaze.

From pixelated CGI movies playing without any music to missing hotspots and cut dialogue, the remaster is a mess, an unnecessary mess. The OG came out in 2015. It wasn't some lost NES or PS2 game that needed to be updated. It runs and plays just as well as it did 8 years ago. The remaster, however, is just Square Enix being all greedy as usual.

If only they had stopped there. Last May, 30 employees from Deck 9, the studio that oversaw the remaster, were laid-off. It's a good thing DontNod, the creators of LiS, is self-publishing noawdays.

I love both of them

I've been trying to leave replaying it for the longest time possible just to try to experience that same original feelings again. I think I'll leave it some more. Also will be playing the original when I finally do.

I am about to download "life is strange" but i need some help because i can't decide if i should get the original or the remastered version.

If it's the only change in the game than it's a huge cashgrab cause they actually want me to buy the game again just to get some quistionable graphical upgrade. CDPR for example gave us a new gen graphics update for the Witcher 3 absolutely free & it's actually made the game look noticably better, not like this. I prefer the left like most of the commenters meaning yeah - really good job devs, lol.

The coloring of the old version is a lot better than the new one.Those comic like coloring is just awesome.Although the remastered version have a ‘slightly’ better on facial expression,the coloring and lighting was pretty suck just like they have take away something which perform well on the old one🥲
