I find it interesting but intellectually dishonest that you make a distinction between Russia's use of PMCs and "Western countries" use of them, like we only use them for "flexibility". What a watered down way to explain that, especially given how both Americans and Canadians violated the Geneva Convention (and have publicly acknowledged this) during the wars given as reference for hiring PMCs in this video. Hard power maneuvers are inherently exercises of state power, and to imply that Western countries don't covertly exercise state power is verifiably false. I obviously don't think what Putin is doing and has done is morally sound, but to believe that we aren't morally ambiguous about our own intelligence and defence practices and to frame Western states in this way as "not the same" in regard to PMCs specifically is just ignorant.

I just want to point out that Wagner took more territory in Russia in one day than they did in Ukraine over 8 months.

My conspiracy theory is that this whole drama in Russia for Prigozhin to rebel, march on Moscow, then strike a deal with the mediation of Belarus to get asylum there and get all charges against him dropped, is just an elaborate trick for him to move to Belarus to open a Northern front from Belarus to attack Ukraine and again try to capture Kiev which is just over 200 miles from the border. Since Prigozhin is technically a rebel force painted as not guided by the Russian state, It can be claimed that Belarus is not joining the war and Russian has not sanctioned the invasion and that it is just a rebel action

It is impossible to remain calm in any situation. Also, we do not have to always be calm.
Nature develops us by constantly growing our ego. If we look at eons of human development, we can see development from basic survival desires for food, sex, family and shelter—desires we had as cave dwellers—through the egoistic desires that appear when we develop as civilizations: money, honor, control and knowledge.
The more the ego grows, the less calm we become.
Aggravation, agitation and stress are all states that nature urges us to feel in order to reach the recognition of our human ego as the cause of the turbulence, and by doing so, develop a sincere new desire to rise above the ego.
At this juncture, we need a supportive environment where we feel encouragement and confidence in order to rise above the ego.
One aspect of such an environment is regular learning and activity aimed at elevating us above the human ego, which shields us against any aggravations that come to unbalance us.
In other words, by regularly calibrating ourselves in order to recognize the ego as the source of our imbalance with our surroundings, and to rise above the ego, we would need to strengthen our supportive environment, which would in turn help us through any states we experience faster than if we were left to our own devices.
