Even Today he is smiling...
ОтветитьThe sax player after the solo was like "That's Tony Bennett!!"
ОтветитьTony
ОтветитьIt doesn't get any better than this!!
ОтветитьThis guy played in the Philippines as a USO show and it rained hard. He played like nothing was astray. A tremendous show I was crazy watching. All respect.
ОтветитьTexan here. Ive spent time in New York and believe me when i tell you i totally get the vibe of this song. Just sit in a dark bar with a dry martini and quietly watch my thoughts and feelings drift slowly by to soft piano music. That is my New York state of mind.
ОтветитьWhen monster one meets monster two....
ОтветитьI saw Billy Joel at a tiny venue in Provo Utah in 1975, I think just after Streetlife Serenade album or maybe the one after that. No chairs. Audience sat on the floor. In fall 1977 I saw him again at Kingsbury Hall in SLC. This was just after The Stranger and his popularity was taking off. He was still booked into small venues but they were selling out in a couple of hours. I was able to get seats in the orchestra pit, right by the piano. It was glorious. I'd love to go back to that day and ask him if he thought he would ever play his songs to a sold out Shea Stadium with Tony Bennett.
Ответитьしびれます❤😮震えます🎉ありがとう感動です🌹

ОтветитьLove watching mark Rivera turn around and say that’s Tony Bennett after his solo 🥹
ОтветитьCan you imagine being the sax player and Tony Bennett is applauding for you? He is a hell of a sax player...
ОтветитьUn gran tema musical de Billy Yoel y una gran pérdida la de Tony Benet.
Ответить60 year career based on 1 crappy song.
But God bless him....
That Benedetto kid did alright for himself.
ОтветитьTony Bennett one of the all-time talents and oh btw pure class. Don't make them like that any more. (A suit on stage? God forbid!)
ОтветитьI will miss you dearly.I feel music has stopped😢
ОтветитьThe best Tony and Joey
ОтветитьAnother Legend gone… Rest on High
ОтветитьWhat always brings the tear is the admiration that both Billy and Mark have for Tony. And Tony gives it right back...mutual respect among musicians...its chilling...
ОтветитьShea Stadium, what a regal place for NY legends!
