Show notes:

Lars suffered a breakdown on the way to the gig and had to sit this one out.
The first and only show he missed in Metallica's 23 year history; up until this point he was the only member of Metallica to perform at every show.
While other members (Kirk, Rob, Jason, Cliff, Dave and Ron) never missed any shows, each was, of course, never always in Metallica.
James missed three shows in July 2000.
Joey Jordison from Slipknot, Dave Lombardo from Slayer, and Lars' trusty right hand man and drum tech for 19 years, Flemming Larsen, stepped in last minute to make sure there still was a show.
