I LOVE this Set! | LEGO Coruscant Guard Gunship REVIEW

iI like the optimism but lord this set is such a scam.... they really peaked with the 2013 model

The main gripe about this set was the minifigures. Sure I don't mind the one's that they included, but bc of the gunship's colour scheme; I think that Commander Thorn would have better fit the set, due to the only time we see this colour scheme was in the invasion of Scipio. In doing so; I think swapping out Chancellor Palpatine for a Super Battle droid (or Commando droid) and adding another would have pleased Clone Wars fans and honestly might have brought in more people to buy it due to it's accuracy (with a different Padme minifig tho). However, I believe that a invasion of Scipio set would be more deserving of a Republic Frigate with an updated design. Otherwise a Droid Gunship/Hyena Bomber which would focus on b2 super battle droids or commando droids with Commander Thorn and 1 Shock Trooper. (LEGO please realise this)

Ignoring my rant; this set was a master piece and I hope that we get more updated Clone Wars or Episode 2/3 sets soon

Regardless of price, your "options" are just spending more money on top of an already overpriced set to fix their fuck ups.

The set is just rock solid. Nothing has the tendency to fall off. It's a great play set. Which is its intended use. If you want a display set that is in the adult sphere go for the UCS.
I love how robust it is. And for my display purposes having ordered multiple of the 2024 battle packs. I know where the shock troopers are going.

How upgrade fox get gcc replacement fox torso and legs and Kama then get black visor then you have best Lego fox

This set is amazing and so is the commander fox

Personally I don’t get why people mind the helmet holes and the reasons as to why people say they are bad is that the holes are not where their supposed to be but that just sounds like ocd to me

No ball turrets, no prints, no pilot, no minifigure coats, bars as guns, 150$ perfect….

Finally, somebody that isn’t just saying this set is SH*T because it’s not, it has a few flaws but it is a good set and I am so annoyed with how much hate the set is getting, you are awesome!

I think the fact you have to buy things to fix commander fox is the problem. It's not all authentic lego to people who care about that. And for paying 140 for it, it should at least have no printing problems. I still plan on getting it, but it is a problem that should be addressed

One thing I would have liked to have scene would be young Tarkin. I can’t really think of a better set for him to come along in than a coruscant guard set since he’s pretty much always flanked with coruscant guards in the clone wars

Hello Folks, before you fork out about 100 quid or so on this, on Etsy I got the old gunship for £40 and it’s much bigger and better, it’s just not official Lego, but I’m a broke boi and do not care. Save your pennies Folks

I'm also not too bummed out about Fox! I think it's really cool to see a red Clone helmet. Also I love Metamodernity, awesome review!

With this new red I'd say a new Ashoka's jedi star fighter might happen

For the wingtip turrets: remove the grey 4x4 plates, replace with 4x4 turntable bases, now the turrets rotate. More play value! (I like the stud shooters.)

I even took that apart and checked the instruction but i think i built everything correctly

I’m glad that you of all people got this set early because it made me find your channel. Definitely my favorite LEGO Star Wars reviewer at the moment. You have a great style and you don’t endlessly whine about minor things like so many others do. You acknowledge flaws without harping on them. The editing and flow is also great and it’s obvious you put more effort in than most in the space.

The thing is, In australia the gunship is actually more costly than the atte. So i recommend getting atte as it is a better and bigger build, and a better minifure selection for cheaper

Can clones with a range finder fit inside the gunship?

When there are Lego gunships they almost every time steal the show, and that is absolutely deserved. Lego gunships look great.

Wasn't able to get the last one in 2013, which was quite a while ago, and we weren't really able to afford it, but now I got my own money, I can totally get this, maybe multiple, and finally have a gunship in my collection.
