Question - Are there two Giselles or is one of them an backup dancer?

Honestly, brutally honestly, nobody has really impressed so much, since those like Margot Fonteyn and Nureyev. Were to one show a few Christmases back, it just lacked any excitement or character. Of course its all technically correct, etc, but depth and heart is missing. Then on the program they had ‘MAKEUP BY MAC’ written all over it, which made it just look cheap. Good luck to everyone though.

Just brilliant! Our wonderful British " less is more" gracious technique, is truly beautiful to witness! Being true to the Romantic Style, is perfectly displayed in this rehearsal. Thank you so much The Royal Ballet!

Wow this really makes me want to buy a ticket to see a show. It is nice to see the hard work that goes into this. I love and appreciate the dancers even more now. I'm just amazed. I was never into ballet until now. Thank you for sharing this.

As someone who danced ballet for 11 years-- these people are incredible! The amount of stamina required and the technique, it's all astounding. Everyone looked beautiful!

To my uncultured mind, this looks like a complete torture. U surely have to have a bit of masochist in you to enjoy this non stop insanity, non? I know, I am such a beast 😂 Much respect to their athleticism and spartan discipline.

The unsung hero is the pianist playing flawlessly for such a long time.

I love how different they all are, also in body type and it works and looks so beautiful!! ❤
