8 Things I WISH I Knew BEFORE Starting A Video Production Company

I truly appreciate this video. Thank goodness I am able to listen to it! I want you to know one thing, the caption I'm watching is not saying one word that you are saying! Did you know that? It's not even in English at times. I hope no one is focusing on those captions, because they are talking about food and other things that don't come anywhere near what you are saying. It just reads random words. I hope you can see that and fix it for your viewers that have to read the captions. 🧐🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤❤God bless, and thank you for you expertise!

100% agree on the "don't give a discount today for the promise of more business in the future". They NEVER come through for you. NEVER. Some people just seem to do this to new businesses to see if they'll be a sucker and fall for a low ball offer. Don't be a sucker.

The most significant side of this career is the business side. Without knowing how to strategise and advertise your film and photo career, you either go bankrupt or wont make good amount of money. Photographers and videographers must learn how to market their business.

I appreciate the information and the promise of more work is exactly what happens to me and why I don't budge on the price. Because the bills don't stop while I'm waiting for the prospect of future work

All great tips....but would have tossed 1 big one in as well...get everything in writing! Don't know if you've come across it yet but eventually you may end up having to drag someone into court for lack of payment or some other issue (hopefully you don't). In the end...all you have is what's in the contract and spelled out. Knew early on you guys would work with some big named companies....keep up the great work! Oh, and another tip (from previous video) for a 'side-hustle' (and making some extra$$). Easy money if someone needs a "2nd Shooter' and a wedding gig (wife's been crushing those lately).....👍👍👍
