Good stuff. I was just wondering about this with the xplor units. I was all about getting one till I found out they won’t exist with helix. I’ll probably start with a xplor cho and ML2 as stand alone and work on adding units later.

Good video Steve. It was nice talking with you at the Toronto International Boat show, and helping me in purchasing the Xplore series units with ML2.

I have only two Helix GN4 models plus the trolling motor so no issues for me, however, I am wondering why you say only 4 HB units can be connected when there are 5 ports? Also, any advantage to upgrade other than than the link lights and potential for a 100 mb connection should I ever add a 100 mb compatible unit? Thanks, great video.

Hi Steve, will the existing ethernet cables that I used with my Helix units work with the new Xplore units?
