Hey Radhika- Thanks for the tutorial, very helpful especially for a beginner like me.

I have a .txt file which contains the data to be loaded into a table in a DB. The data correspond to a table with 300 columns. Is there anyway I can generate the .ctl file automatically? I dont want to write
Field1 position(x,y) dataType,
....
....
field300 position(w,z) dataType.

One doubt, above process if failing when i have last column as null
details:
select * from employees; exported to , seprated csv file, and using that file in above example..

However i am unable to load the data in the table.
I get the following message in my command line:
Load completed  - Logical record count 22

Also it creates a bad file but how do I read the bad file

hi Radhika ...nice video but i had one doubt you said at the end  that there is no log file as there was no error but log file is just a summary so it should have been created even when there is no error.
