This is such a bucket list trip! Just found out a few weeks ago that you can do self guided. Fantastic to have the experienced guide. Nothing like it! But nice to know if you want to go on your own one day you can.

Guided drives are fine on occasions, Kruger is very tame with black top roads and far too many vehicle's stoping for one amimal. You can not beat self drive through Botswana, we have been charged by bull elephants, stuck in the game park over night and had to walk out for help, and seen every animal with out the hoards of poeple. True adventure
