Most people who buy the octavia are taxi drivers who just want to have a cheap reliable car no thrills car

It’s all seems very dark/dull in the interior, wish they added some elements that weren’t just black

Great video abd a great car. Quiet why someone would buy any other car in this class when the Octavia does it all so brilliantly is beyond me.

Hi Sinead: I own a 2023 Kodiaq 1.5 TSI manual transmission, exactly as the test vehicle engine/transmission, I hear a metal-grinding noise/resonance coming from the transmission at low speeds with the driver window down, it's so annoying for a brand new 38000 Euro car, the dealer acknowledges the issue but say that Volkswagen's answer is that it's a normal sound made by this particular type of gearbox (6-speed manual mated to the 1.5 TSI EVO engine). Has anyone come across something like that?

40k for a sportline model is mental. What has happened to car prices? My wife specced a brand new RS Diesel in 2017 with everything sat nat heated seats the lot bar a sunroof for 36,500 and she still has it today.
She looked at trading it in for the new RS when that came out but the jump in price wasn’t worth it.

Yep I have to say I like it, I think tho' the 2.0 diesel with admittedly the same output as the petrol would be my choice even though I'd have adblue to deal with periodically as my current Kadjar diesel doesn't use it.

I have version three and hope to get L&K version four.

Amazing space in the back even with a 167cm driver. Should be fine even with a 190cm driver. Great car.

Good cabin noise insulation was never a Skoda's strong point, how good is it now? They are no longer cheap cars.
