I'm still really looking forward towards getting Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 next since this collection is already available and all, and I'm even hoping of getting this for Christmas for both the PS5 and Nintendo Switch consoles as well since I really want both the PS5 and Switch versions of this.

Some other great video games that I would also really love to see next hopefully for the Nintendo Switch that I think should be released for the Switch in my own opinion (updated version as of 12/01/2023):

1. HD remasters of both "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" and "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" which have already been released for the Wii U console

2. An HD port, or an HD remaster rather, of "Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes" next which was originally released for Nintendo GameCube back in 2004 which also happens to be a remake of "Metal Gear Solid" a.k.a. MGS1 originally released for the original PlayStation (PS1) console back in 1998

3. A Switch port of the new and upcoming MGS3 remake, "Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater," in the Metal Gear series which will eventually be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Microsoft Windows) sometime

4. A Switch port of the HD edition, or HD remaster rather, of "Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker" from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of "Metal Gear Solid HD Collection"

5. A new Madden NFL game for the system in the Madden NFL series since there are no Madden games yet for the Switch

6. A new Call of Duty game or something next for Nintendo Switch if possible

7. A Switch port of "Grand Theft Auto V" a.k.a. GTA V

8. A Switch port of the Crash Bandicoot online multiplayer party video game "Crash Team Rumble" which was just released back in June for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S

9. A Switch port of the 2023 remake of "Resident Evil 4" which was just released earlier this year back in March for the PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles including for PC (Microsoft Windows) along with the newly and recently released "Separate Ways" DLC

10. A new and upcoming Mario & Sonic Olympic Games video game entry next in the Mario & Sonic series based on the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics which will occur next year in the summer of 2024 in Paris, France, and it should be titled either as "Mario & Sonic at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games" or "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Paris 2024" perhaps

11. A Switch version or port of the puzzle game "Deliver Us the Moon" even though it was cancelled for the Switch a few years back apparently

12. A Switch port of "Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed" which was just released last year in 2022 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles including for PC (Microsoft Windows) and there was also a single-player only version of the game that was just released back in June for both PS4 and Xbox One and is also a remake of the original "Destroy All Humans! 2" game which was originally released back in 2006 for both PS2 and original Xbox

13. A Nintendo Switch port of "Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon" which was originally released 30 years ago back in 1993 for Philips CD-i (Even though the games both received negative reviews and all from what I've heard, I personally still think that they both should deserve a spot though on the Nintendo Switch perhaps, especially considering the Internet memes that are associated with them too.)

14. A set of legacy games from the Nintendo GameCube, Wii, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS video game consoles next (and maybe even some games from the Wii U game console as well even though some or most Wii U games, such as "Mario Kart 8," "Super Mario 3D World," and "Pikmin 3," have all been ported over to the Nintendo Switch already) as part of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Legacy Games Service

That's just my own opinion though so far of some of the games that probably should come to the Nintendo Switch next perhaps in my opinion and it would be really awesome if all of those games ever come to Nintendo Switch next sometime as well, if possible.

didnt know this was coming until I saw it on the store shelf and I was excited to buy it. But despite being a physical copy, it requires a LOT of downloading, so why charge fans full price when oftentimes they've already bought these games for other platforms? I buy physical copies to avoid download storage and the possibility of internet / downloading issues... I want to OWN my games and know that I can access them at anytime and anywhere as long as I have electricity, I'm old-school like that. - I pay real money for real game, not virtual game. THIS IS A LAZY CASH-GRAB FROM KONAMI... I hope a volume 2 comes out for the newer Metal Gear games, and they actually do it proper. At least have the main games on the cartridge, and let the extras be downloads if necessary. This vol 1 is a disappointment.

This collection set is still really amazing, and I can't wait to get this soon too now that it's finally available already! I want the physical copies of both the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, and I'm also hoping of getting them for Christmas this year as well since the holidays are almost here again already. Even though the physical copy of this collection for the Switch does require downloads and whatnot for all of the games and the content, I actually don't really care what anybody says about it since I actually still want to pick up the physical copy of this on the Switch anyway, especially since I'm a physical video game collector and I've always been used to picking up physical copies of games for each of my game systems that I have that way which I still prefer too even though I also like digital games now already as well since I'm only just saying. I'm still really looking forward towards picking up this compilation set though for both PS5 and Nintendo Switch, and I'm also still hoping of possibly getting them for Christmas this year as well which will be really great.

I've also heard that there's apparently going to be a PS4 version of "Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1" as well although the PS4 version is just going to be digital-only from what I've heard and as a result, I might not consider getting the PS4 version of this since I actually want the physical copy of the compilation collection set for both PS5 and Nintendo Switch being that the PS5 and Switch versions will have physical copies available and I still like and prefer collecting physical video games so far.

I've also heard that there's going to be a PS4 version as well apparently, but for some reason though the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will only be available digitally and because of that, I don't know if I'll probably get the PS4 version. I might just settle with the PS5 and Switch versions instead, especially since both versions will also be available both physically and digitally even though I mostly just want the physical copy of the collection set for both systems to play on.

I can’t wait I always wanted to get into the series and I’m been trying to get out my comfort zone I recently beat Okami on switch and it was a enjoyable experience and I never got interested on it till I saw some gameplay and btw yeah I heard this port runs at 30fps but tbh as someone who doesn’t know much about frames or care much about them I’ll probably won’t see an issue some may do and that’s fine but I’m hype can’t wait to play this and add it to my digital collection of games I been starting

I do have to say though that it actually seems kind of weird in a way for the original MGS1 game for PS1 to be released on Xbox and Nintendo consoles next like this since MGS1 just feels more of a PlayStation exclusive game almost being that it's never been released for any of the Xbox and Nintendo systems although its 2004 remake, MGS: The Twin Snakes, was released for the Nintendo GameCube which I still remember and I even still have that game too since I really love it just as much as the original MGS1 game. I would also really love to see a possible HD remaster next of MGS: The Twin Snakes perhaps for the Switch or something too which would be so awesome and that would be really great if it ever does happen someday.

I can't wait to pick up this particular collection set next, and I even wonder how the controls will be like too for each of the different games in the series here on the Switch. If I also have to take a guess, I'm thinking that the Codec call button will probably more than likely be mapped to the Minus (-) Button on the Left Joy-Con Controller as well as the Pro Controller since I remember how it used to be mapped to the Select Button on the PlayStation versions. In MGS1, during the boss battle with Psycho Mantis, I also wonder what'll happen when Mantis tries to read your memory and controllers as well in this particular version and also how you'll have to beat him by swapping the controller positions too.
