New Autoglym Advanced All Wheel Cleaner Tested!

I recently bought a TT and the wheels have really ingrained dirt/dust. I have tried this product and dedicated cleaners and fall out removers but still not getting them fully clean, any tips please?

Can't see the average driver forking out nearly £60 for a tub of autoglym. Even though it may be cost effective.

I used auto glym magma all around my car then autoglym snow foam but really had to scrub hard to get the marks of from magma
Didi do it correctly or am i destroying my car

Bilt hamber already do a wheel cleaner like this and it works very well

How long did you leave the wheel cleaner on before washing it off, so many product have different instructions

Do you have any good advice for remove scratchs on alloy's wheels?

I just use stjarnagloss pre wash

How do the environmental regulations affect you if you do mobile detailing?

The regs seem very tight around ‘trade effluent’ so I’m struggling to work it out

Diamondbrite ruby red is the best imo 👍

Lazy people don't wash their own cars. They either hire someone else to do it or pop down to the local scratch and shine

Will these products remove any car wax that use on my wheels?

I used Purple Rain by Autoglym back in the day. Smelt horrible but it be applied on the paintwork and wheels as it’s not acidic. It great for getting the contaminants out of the paint before a clay bar

It looks pretty decent for a consumer product, and the price is quite good.
Will it convince me to swap over from my usual product ? (Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel) .... I doubt it, as BH is brilliant and about the same price.
But for people who pick up their stuff locally from Halfords, yes I can see why this would be very popular.
Edit : Just saw in older comments you were interested to know who others use BH.
Personally, I have tried 20 different wheel cleaners, although not tried this Autogylm one yet. The Mequiars was probably the best for a Halfords product, but compared to BH it was quite noticeably weaker. BH Auto Wheel turns red much quicker, and darker red too, which is what I want, it saves time. BH also has really good wheel cleaning performance too, it is good on tyres, and the price is (last time I bought 5 litres) about £62, so not that different to this product.
The good thing about BH, is that although it does have a very strong smell like all fallout stuff, it's actually not 'eggy', which makes it bearable.

Hi i bought turtle wax REDLINE WHEEL CLEANER 5L and i was wondering if this will be safe to use on the paint. thanks alot if u reply as it could save me a few pounds 😅😅

Looks good and is very similar to the Turtlewax one but the AG works out cheaper 👍🏻

Is this safe on wheels that have gloss black on them? I got some bilt hambur cleaner but a bit afraid to try it. Sis the it on my dads and came up well with standard alloy but your right the stink was on my clothes and you could smell it on the driveway for days after

I do use a fall out remover on the alloys but I'm yet to find anything to remove the stubborn black dots on them and i don't really want to use a acid cleaner as i haven't the experience yet .

Rather have AG over a white label brand any day. Great video Dave, hope that rain stops one day!

Too expensive can get much cheaper products that do the same job

I got sent a 1 litre bottle of this, I helped out a couple of times with development, looking forward to trying it, seen a couple of reviews saying it’s a good product. Also got sent a litre of Ceramic Wash & Protect, would be interested in your thoughts on that too.

Noice. I only use wheel cleaner when the wheels are particularly dirty, and use a wheel shampoo the rest of the time, as I'm cheap and these reactive wheel cleaners are not. I think ag are aiming at the pro sumer or the weekend warrior. I've already ordered a 2.5l and a sprayer, and jow it will compare the bh wheel cleaner

Hi Dave. Would this be safe to use on diamond cut wheels, it's not what would you recommend?

BH autowheel for me like has APC in it so double whammy for me like 1/2 a bottle down and top it up with water still works great,used to use dragon breath of eBay was like £36 for 10ltrs not bad stuff,don’t really like AG stuff overpriced much better stuff out there now

I like the split view Dave. Well done. I’ll stick to my own tried and tested wheel cleaner at 5:1. I like being able to dilute a product. More bang for my buck i guess. But thanks for sharing.
