ОтветитьI can't submit an ITunes review, but boy would I give you 5 stars. I listen to the podcast about 2 hours a day. It doesnt matter which episode because they are all bangers, make me laugh, give me new ideas and keep me distracted from negative stuff
ОтветитьNPC Druid has a Bullete named Robert Bullete. So should Ballista be Bal-is-stay.
ОтветитьWTH, this isn't an artifact! 🤣 Also, it is pronounced more like bullet but with the emphasis on the second syllable (bul'ETTE).
ОтветитьIn Ascent to Avernus, i planted a magic bean and summon a Bulette in one of the BG Dukes’s properties.
ОтветитьGreat episode... anyone ever notice how many monsters love eating halflings? Feels like a lot, is there a lore reason or are they just delicious?
ОтветитьYES FINALLY BULETTE EPISODE
ОтветитьUsed to be a Patreon, still waiting for the economy to get better. Love your guys work and passion for D & D and TTRPG. Great choice for the giveaway and good luck on 50k. Keep on grinding.
ОтветитьThis is my my go-to random encounter monster. So glad to have this video.
ОтветитьMy fav The ol Land shark
ОтветитьTy so much for the podcast! It’s really sad to see what’s happening to Magic. I found your channel after deciding to quit Magic and play ttrpgs instead. They just have no respect for their consumers and will do anything to maximize profit. Anyways as a learning new dm, you’re channel is invaluable to me and have made this whole learning process much easier! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
P.S. PLEASE MAKE MOAR DRAGON VIDEOS!!!
I used the land shark my first time DMing! PC lost his leg on a crit...
ОтветитьActually...It's Dragon defunct now
ОтветитьSomething I have noticed with your videos is something rare, rewatchability.
Ответить"Get F ed, Wizards!" Enjoy the genuineness. Reminds me of how us men use to talk in the 90s before Feminism became Masculism and Test. Levels fell lower in men than in women, welcome 2015--2023!
ОтветитьShort Rest Cover was rad 😎👌
ОтветитьGreat episode!! Love this monster!!
Ответитьthere's so many good bits in this episode. The get fucked Wizards of the Coast, the WHAT UP MA??, the fact they chompin' on hobbits, the origin of the word Bullete, the confusion around elephant noises. We got some bangers in this episode
ОтветитьThe bullet is always a fun fight. Its an hp hog, has some threatening attacks, plus some abilities you wouldnt expect.
Looking forward to more legenday stuff durring the year of the artifact. Any chance we will get another rod episode if Bryan can keep himself semicontained. The rod of lordly might was one of my favorite magic items from 2e and i completely forgot about it until recently. Gonna be honest its probably one of the best weapons in the game imo.
I listen till the end :)
ОтветитьRandom TSR employee:"Mr Greenwood, we got a problem! There's too many hobbits in D&D!"
Ed Greenwood, grabbing his rifle: "Hand the bullets"
Kas, clearly the shitposter of the team: "what about Bulletes, instead"
wizards suck, our anger at them is very deserved
ОтветитьBullete,Bullete, which it now which it now Bullete Bullete 🎶🎶🎶🎶 60s whow.
ОтветитьCheck out the “Mythic Actions” mechanics from Theros, that fits your description of “powers that kick off at an hp threshold”. Also: MCDM’s Villain Action mechanic is very close to what you are looking for, I think. I use them both in encounters for my group of 9 level 18 PCs.
ОтветитьI listen to you guys everyday at work thank you for all the amazing lore and making me a better player and dm 6/5 star review
ОтветитьWith regards to pumping up the stat block, I would add that when it is below half health, as it burrows gets an effect similar to Erupting Earth on it's path of traversal as it is thrashing about hurt under the ground. Roleplay it as though the creature doesn't know that it is affecting the ground above as it does that so it isn't spamming the ability.
ОтветитьThe new demigorgon song sounds MUCH better than the normal song
ОтветитьI get you guys on podcast and it is amazing.
Please keep going :)
Talking about bloodied/desperation mechanics, I always love the idea of predator-type monsters gaining a "grab n drag" move. Like, they are looking to just get the weakest prey and drag them away from the dangerous situation so that they can eat their meal and live another day. You can make it a pretty low damage move to reflect how injured they are, but a grapple plus movement option works really well thematically for major predators.
ОтветитьLove your videos and learning about DND from you guys. Diversity saves!
Ответитьthat cover song was fucking awesome
ОтветитьFirst time seeing your faces I've listened to all of super quest and am up to date with the cast and fbats
ОтветитьThis was a pretty fun episode, definitely got me more interested in running a bulette in a game sometime. Thanks team
ОтветитьDo not get over it. They deserve ongoing scorn.
ОтветитьMy favorite time running a Bullette was when a player got swallowed by one and was able to do the last bit of damage from inside the creature. The scene of him cutting his way out of the side of the creature. They also found a valuable magical gem inside of it that was important to a quest they were on.
ОтветитьThe kingsmen tried to warn us about the cold immune wooly bullette.
ОтветитьMy dudes, how have you not eaten the tasty hobbitses? On. Campaign in Chult we called them Shortpig.
ОтветитьI'm not a DnD player. I'm here because of Baldur's Gate 3. That game is something that has brought me great joy! I am however a Magic the Gathering Player and hearing you poo on wizards made me smile :)
ОтветитьHow do people know that Bulette's dont like certain typs of flesh? Speak to animal, maybe? Not sure if that Spell would work, but I'm sure someone has tried.
ОтветитьIt is "bu-let-te"... Final consonants are only voiceless stops if it is a single consonant.
